The Sea to Summit Frontier Ultralight Two Pot Cook Set is a 14-piece camp kitchen system built around a 2L and 3L hard-anodized aluminium pot, four Medium Passage Bowls, and four Passage Cutlery Sets, all nesting into a packed size of 19.6 × 18.5 × 13.5 cm and a combined set weight of 867 g. The set earned a Gold award at the 2023 Australian Good Design Awards. One size is available.

Hard-Anodized Aluminium with Ceramic Non-Stick

Both Frontier Pots are built from hard-anodized aluminium alloy, a material chosen for its superior heat transfer and the durability of its anodized surface layer. Efficient heat transfer means fuel goes further and cook times stay predictable. That consistency matters when managing a stove canister over multiple days. The ceramic non-stick coating is PTFE-free and non-PFAS, so food releases cleanly without the chemical concerns associated with traditional non-stick surfaces, and clean-up in camp stays quick even without running water. Because the anodization is part of the aluminium itself, the pots resist scratching and corrosion better than bare aluminium, extending the working life of the cookset across seasons of use.

Click-Safe Handle and LidKeep System

The stainless steel Click-Safe handle attaches to either pot with an audible click, confirming a secure connection before you lift a full pot of boiling water. The handle is removable and reversible: reversed, it clamps across the lid and nesting contents to hold the entire cookset together during transport without a stuff sack or extra straps. Each pot lid also carries a patent-pending silicone LidKeep: a clip that attaches the lid to the rim of the pot while you are cooking, keeping it off the ground and out of the dirt. The Click-Safe handles are interchangeable with other Frontier Pots, so the system can grow with your kit. The lids also include strainer holes, so draining pasta or rinsing grains does not require a separate colander.

Passage Tableware Built for Camp Use

The four Medium Passage Bowls and four Passage Cutlery Sets (each set includes a knife and a spork) are made from glass-reinforced polypropylene certified to EU and Japanese food-grade standards, and are BPA-free. The material is microwavable and dishwasher safe, making the tableware easy to clean at home between trips as well as in camp. CoolGrip sidewalls on the bowls provide enough insulation to hold a hot bowl comfortably without a sleeve or cloth. The curved junction between the bowl's sidewall and base is shaped to match Sea to Summit spoons and sporks, so the utensil reaches every part of the bowl.

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Frontier Ultralight Two Pot Cook Set suits groups of up to four people cooking at camp: car campers, overlanders, and backpackers who want a complete cook-and-eat system in one nested package and value a PTFE-free, non-PFAS ceramic coating. The Click-Safe handle system and LidKeep make the set practical for solo or group use where convenience and low pack weight both matter.

The Frontier Pots are not dishwasher safe; the caustic cleaners used in dishwashers damage the anodization. The Click-Safe handle is not intended for use on open fires. This set does not include a stove, fuel, or cooking utensils beyond the included knives and sporks.

Common Questions

Are the Frontier Pots dishwasher safe?

The Frontier Pots and their lids are made from anodized aluminum, and the caustic cleaners used in dishwashers will damage the anodization. The Frontier Pots must be hand-washed. The Passage bowls and cutlery included in the set are dishwasher safe.

Will the Click-Safe handle fit other Frontier Pots?

The Click-Safe handles included with the Frontier Ultralight Two Pot Cook Set are interchangeable with other Sea to Summit Frontier Pots, so a handle can be used across compatible pots in the Frontier line.

What does the silicone clip on the inside of the lid do?

The silicone clip is the LidKeep. It allows the Frontier Pot lid to be clipped to the rim of the pot while cooking, keeping the lid elevated and clean rather than resting on the ground or a dirty surface at camp.

Can the Passage Bowls be held comfortably when contents are hot?

The Passage Bowls feature CoolGrip sidewalls that insulate hands from hot contents, allowing the bowl to be held securely whether the food inside is hot or cold.

What is included in the 14-piece set?

The Frontier Ultralight Two Pot Cook Set includes a 2L Frontier Pot, a 3L Frontier Pot (each with a lid and Click-Safe handle), four Medium Passage Bowls, and four Passage Cutlery Sets; each cutlery set contains a knife and a spork, for a total of 14 pieces.

Can the Frontier Pots be used on an open fire?

The Click-Safe handle on the Frontier Pots is not intended for use on open fires. The cookset is designed for use with camp stoves.
