The Power Tank Quick-Release Bracket is a 6061 billet aluminum mount that holds a 2.5 lb ABC dry chemical fire extinguisher and a Pro Eagle Phoenix CO2 jack in a single bracket. Machined to tight tolerances and finished with a matte anodized coating, it installs to flat surfaces, PALS/MOLLE panels, roll cage tubes, or the side of a Power Tank 10 lb or 15 lb Super Bracket (BKT-2260 purchased 2021 or later).

One-Handed Emergency Access

The Quick-Release Bracket uses a pull-pin release with a bright red fabric pull attached to a steel lanyard. In an emergency, the pin stays tethered to the bracket so it cannot be lost, and the design allows a user to pull the pin and grab the extinguisher as two separate movements when only one hand is free. That combination of a high-visibility pull and a tethered pin reduces fumbling time when seconds matter on a trail.
