Power Tank BTS CO2 Tank Bracket for Jeep Wrangler JKU and JLU

The Power Tank BTS (Behind the Seat) Bracket is a powdercoated aluminum vehicle mount that positions a 10 lb, 15 lb, or 20 lb Power Tank behind the rear seats of a 4-door Jeep Wrangler JKU (2007–2018) or JLU (2018 and newer), directly under the roll bar and over the wheel well. The bracket is reversible and mounts on either the driver or passenger side. All hardware needed for installation is included; a Power Tank Super Bracket is required and sold separately.

Regulator Access Where You Need It

Placing the Power Tank behind the rear seat and under the roll bar puts the regulator within easy reach from inside or outside the vehicle, so airing up after a trail section does not require digging through cargo or opening a tailgate. The over-wheel-well position keeps the tank low and centered, reducing leverage on the mount during off-road movement and keeping the tank out of the primary cargo area.

MOLLE Top Plate for Tool Storage

The BTS Bracket's top plate carries a MOLLE-pattern cutout, letting owners attach MOLLE-compatible pouches directly to the bracket. Storing a tire inflator gauge, deflator, or valve stem tools on the bracket itself means the gear needed to air down and air up travels with the CO2 system rather than loose in the cargo area.

Fits Three Top Configurations and Both Wrangler Generations

The bracket is designed to work with the OEM hard top, OEM soft top, and topless Wranglers. Installation uses two of the stock hard top bolts plus two bolts through the fender well; mounting does require drilling two small holes through the fender well. The same bracket fits both JKU (2007–2018) and JLU (2018 and newer) four-door Wranglers and accommodates 10 lb, 15 lb, and 20 lb Power Tank cylinders through multiple adjustment positions. Jeep JLU models equipped with the factory Alpine subwoofer are limited to driver-side installation. Power Tank has published alternate installation instructions for the Sky One Touch Top; the bracket has not been tested with other aftermarket top options.

The BTS Bracket does not fit 2-door Jeep Wrangler JK or JL models, and it does not fit any vehicle other than the 4-door Wrangler JKU and JLU. On JLU models with the factory Alpine subwoofer, passenger-side installation is not possible. The bracket has not been tested with aftermarket top options beyond the Sky One Touch Top. The required Power Tank Super Bracket is not included and must be purchased separately; the BTS Bag shown in product imagery is also sold separately.

Common Questions

Does the BTS Bracket fit both the JKU and JLU Wrangler?

The Power Tank BTS Bracket fits the 4-door Jeep Wrangler JKU (model years 2007 through 2018) and the 4-door Jeep Wrangler JLU (2018 and newer). It does not fit 2-door Wrangler JK or JL models. The same bracket SKU (BKT-2349) covers all applicable years of both generations.

Is the Super Bracket included, or do I need to buy it separately?

The Power Tank Super Bracket is not included with the BTS Bracket and must be purchased separately. Two Super Bracket versions are available: one for 10 lb and 15 lb Power Tanks, and one for the 20 lb Power Tank. All other hardware needed to mount the BTS Bracket and attach the Super Bracket is included in the box.

Does installation require drilling into the vehicle?

Yes. The BTS Bracket installs using two of the stock hard top bolts and two additional bolts that pass through the fender well. Mounting requires drilling two small holes through the fender well. The bracket works with or without the hard top installed after mounting is complete.

Can the bracket be mounted on either side of the vehicle?

The BTS Bracket is reversible and can be installed on either the driver side or the passenger side of the Wrangler.
