Mayhem Compass 8305 17x9 Wheel in Matte Gunmetal

The Mayhem Compass 8305 is a 17x9 aluminum alloy wheel, sold individually (price is per wheel, not per set), built for trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs that demand a load rating up to 3,640 lbs on tires up to 40 inches. This listing covers the Matte Gunmetal finish in a 5-127 bolt pattern with a -6mm offset and 78.1mm hub bore.

Aluminum Construction Rated for Real Loads

The Compass 8305 is cast from high-quality aluminum alloy and carries a load rating up to 3,640 lbs, a figure specified for use with tires up to 40 inches. For a truck or Jeep running oversized rubber on rough terrain, that rating matters: it means the wheel is engineered to handle the combined stress of a heavier tire, an aggressive offset, and uneven surfaces without relying on a conservative, street-only safety margin. The aluminum construction keeps weight reasonable at 27 lbs per wheel while maintaining the structural integrity that load rating requires.

TPMS Compatible and Backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty

The Compass 8305 is TPMS compatible, so factory or aftermarket tire-pressure monitoring sensors seat and function without modification. Mayhem backs the wheel with a lifetime structural warranty covering structural failures for the life of the wheel, not just for a fixed term. For a wheel that may see off-road use, that coverage provides meaningful long-term confidence.

Specifications

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Compass 8305 suits truck, Jeep, and SUV owners running a 5-127 bolt pattern who want a 17x9 wheel with a -6mm offset and a 78.1mm hub bore, particularly those running larger tires who need a wheel load rating that keeps pace with the added weight and stress.

This listing is for one wheel only; buyers needing a full set must purchase the appropriate quantity. The Compass 8305 does not fit vehicles with a different bolt pattern, offset requirement, or hub bore than those listed above. Tires, lug nuts, and TPMS sensors are not included.

Common Questions

Is this listing for one wheel or a set of four?

The Mayhem Compass 8305 is sold individually. The price shown is for one wheel, and buyers who need a full set of four should add four units to their cart.

What bolt pattern, offset, and hub bore does this wheel use?

This variant of the Compass 8305 uses a 5-127 bolt pattern, a -6mm offset, and a 78.1mm hub bore. Confirm all three against your vehicle's specifications before purchasing, as offset and hub bore affect fitment as much as bolt pattern does.

What is the load rating, and does it apply to oversized tires?

The Compass 8305 carries a load rating up to 3,640 lbs, and Mayhem specifies that rating for use with tires up to 40 inches. Buyers running tires larger than 40 inches should verify the rating is appropriate for their application before purchasing.

Will my factory TPMS sensors work with this wheel?

The Compass 8305 is TPMS compatible, meaning factory and most aftermarket tire-pressure monitoring sensors are designed to seat and function in this wheel. TPMS sensors are not included and must be transferred from existing wheels or purchased separately.

What warranty does this wheel carry?

Mayhem backs the Compass 8305 with a lifetime structural warranty covering structural failures for the life of the wheel. TerrainVault's own return and support policies apply to purchases made through this store.
