The Leitner Designs ACS Forged Tonneau is an aluminum alloy truck bed rack built for RAM 1500, 2500, and 3500 pickups. Single-piece aluminum alloy uprights and grade 10.9 black Zn-Ni coated fasteners give the system an 800 lb on-road dynamic weight capacity and a 1,400 lb parked static weight capacity. The product FAQ states a load rating of 400 lbs on-road dynamic and 800 lbs parked static. The rack stands 23 inches tall measured from the top of the bed caps and is designed to work alongside compatible retractable tonneau covers, keeping the bed accessible while supporting a rooftop tent or gear carrier. Two SKUs cover the range of fitments: the 5'7" bed variant weighs 85 lb and the 6'4" bed variant weighs 91 lb. A compatible T-Slot Rail tonneau cover is required and sold separately.

- Rubber wind diffuser and load pad: reduces wind noise and keeps cargo from shifting.
- Optional Gear Pods: locking, water-resistant storage pods follow the vehicle body lines and can be added to the system.

Compatible tonneau covers
The ACS Forged Tonneau works with the following retractable covers: Retrax Pro XR (manual or electric), Retrax EQ, Retrax One XR (manual or electric), Pace Edwards Explorer Series Rails, and Pace Edwards UltraGroove. Covers not on this list have either not been tested or may have T-slot dimensions or retractable sections that interfere with installation. A powered tonneau cover is strongly recommended to maintain full system functionality. Not compatible with RAMBOX.
Care and use
