The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Ultimate Front End Kit Stage 2 is a three-component front suspension rebuild kit for 2005-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks, combining Dynatrac HD BallJoints, an ICON Track Bar Ball Joint Kit, and an ICON Alignment Cam Kit to address loose steering, erratic tracking, and death-wobble at the source. The kit fits Dana 60 and Dynatrac Pro 60 knuckles and is optimized for vehicles running 2-3 inches of front lift.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Rebuilt from the Knuckle Out

OEM ball joints wear quickly under the load of larger off-road tires, high mileage, or repeated off-road stress. The Dynatrac HD BallJoints included here use heat-treated high-strength billet bodies with chromoly stems and a heat-treated, precision-ground stainless-steel ball, construction that holds tighter tolerances for longer than factory units. The greaseable fittings and PTFE-coated wear points extend service intervals, and the on-vehicle rebuildable design means the joints can be serviced without pulling the axle housing.

Track Bar and Alignment Addressed Together

The ICON Track Bar Ball Joint Kit replaces the track bar ball joint with a metal-on-metal construction unit that eliminates the flex associated with worn OEM rubber joints, restoring precise lateral axle location. On 2005-2016 F-250/F-350 trucks it presses directly into the OE front axle; on 2017-2022 trucks it presses into the ICON adjustable front track bar and may not be compatible with other brands of aftermarket track bars.

The ICON Alignment Cam Kit rounds out the Stage 2 system by adding 2.3 degrees of caster and 0.5 degrees of camber adjustment over stock, allowing the front end to be brought back into factory alignment spec after a suspension lift. The zinc-plated cams resist corrosion and include new cotter pins. These cams are optimized for 2-3 inches of front lift and are not recommended for stock-height vehicles.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This kit suits 2005-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD owners running Dana 60 or Dynatrac Pro 60 front axles who are experiencing loose steering, death-wobble, or uneven tire wear, and who are running or planning 2-3 inches of front lift. The track bar ball joint installs into the OE front axle on 2005-2016 trucks or into the ICON adjustable front track bar on 2017-2022 trucks.

This kit does not fit stock-height vehicles (alignment cams are not recommended without 2-3 inches of front lift), will not fit axles equipped with RCV axle shafts, and the track bar ball joint on 2017-2022 trucks may not be compatible with aftermarket track bars other than ICON's own. It does not fit 2WD Super Duty trucks or model years outside the 2005-2022 range.

Common Questions

Does this kit fit a stock-height F-250 or F-350?

The ICON Stage 2 Ultimate Front End Kit's alignment cams are optimized for vehicles with 2-3 inches of front lift and are not recommended for stock-height Super Duty trucks. The ball joints and track bar ball joint can be installed independently, but the full kit is designed for lifted applications.

Which axles does this kit fit?

The Dynatrac HD BallJoints in this kit fit Dana 60 and Dynatrac Pro 60 front axle knuckles. The kit will not fit axles equipped with RCV axle shafts. Buyers should confirm their axle type before ordering.

How does the track bar ball joint install on 2017-2022 trucks versus older models?

On 2005-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks, the track bar ball joint presses directly into the OE front axle and is compatible with OE or aftermarket track bars. On 2017-2022 trucks, it presses into the ICON adjustable front track bar and may not be compatible with other brands of aftermarket track bars.

Is ICON's track bar bracket required alongside this kit?

For 2008-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks, ICON recommends also installing their track bar bracket (part 64039) to correct bump steer geometry. That bracket is sold separately and is not included in the Stage 2 Ultimate Front End Kit.

Can the ball joints be serviced without removing the axle housing?

Yes. The Dynatrac HD BallJoints included in this kit feature an on-vehicle rebuildable design, meaning they can be rebuilt while still installed in the front axle housing. The greaseable fittings and PTFE-coated wear points also extend the interval between service events.
