The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 4 Billet Suspension System is a complete bolt-on lift and performance upgrade for 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD trucks, delivering 1.75–2.63 inches of adjustable lift over stock through vehicle-specific-tuned 2.5-inch coilover shocks up front and 2.5-inch Aluminum Series Piggyback shocks in the rear. All lift heights are measured on a stock-equipped vehicle. The system ships as three component kits: front coilover kit (91800), billet upper control arm kit with Delta Joint (98505DJ), and rear Piggyback shock pair (97720P).

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Increased Wheel Travel and Damping, Front and Rear

The front 2.5-inch coilovers feature an external remote reservoir that keeps fluid cooler during extended off-road use, sustaining consistent damping performance longer than a standard shock body can. ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs are matched to the F-150's specific weight and travel characteristics, so the truck responds predictably across the full range of suspension movement rather than only near ride height. The rear 2.5 Aluminum Series Piggyback shocks carry vehicle-specific valving that mirrors the front damping character, keeping the truck balanced under load and over rough terrain.

Billet Upper Control Arms with the Delta Joint

The billet aluminum upper control arms are CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and replace the factory stamped-steel arms to increase caster and retain the factory alignment specification range. Each arm uses ICON's patented Delta Joint: a greaseable, high-angle ball joint with a zinc-plated housing and a grease seal that blocks moisture and debris from the inner workings. Metal-on-metal construction and FK rod end bearings extend service life and eliminate the corrosion vulnerability of an open uniball in daily-driven conditions, while still allowing greater articulation than a conventional ball joint.

Bolt-On Installation, No Cutting or Welding

Every component in the Stage 4 system installs without cutting or welding, keeping the modification reversible and the chassis intact. CAD-plated coilover shock bodies with 7/8-inch shafts and one-piece impact-extruded aluminum rear cylinders resist corrosion in wet and muddy conditions. The rear shocks' one-piece cylinder construction also produces a consistent surface finish that simplifies future servicing. All shocks in this system are fully serviceable, front remote-reservoir coilovers and rear Piggyback shocks alike.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD owners who want a complete front-and-rear suspension upgrade with 1.75–2.63 inches of adjustable lift, improved wheel travel, and a high-angle upper control arm for both daily driving and off-road use. Buyers running 33x11.50-inch tires will find that size fits without fender modification.

This system does not fit 2WD F-150 variants, F-150 model years outside 2009–2013, or any other vehicle. Not all factory OEM wheel and tire combinations are compatible with this lift; aftermarket wheels with lower offset and less backspace are recommended. Tires larger than 33x11.50 inches may require fender trimming or additional modifications.

Common Questions

What vehicles does this suspension system fit?

The ICON Stage 4 Billet Suspension System is engineered specifically for 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD trucks. It does not fit 2WD variants or F-150 model years outside that range.

How much lift does this system provide?

The front coilovers are height-adjustable and provide 1.75–2.63 inches of lift over stock. That range is measured on a stock-equipped vehicle; actual ride height will vary with added accessories, payload, or a different wheel-and-tire combination.

What components are included in the Stage 4 system?

The Stage 4 Billet system includes three kits: the 91800 front 2.5-inch remote-reservoir coilover kit with ICON-engineered Eibach springs, the 98505DJ billet upper control arm kit with Delta Joint, and the 97720P rear 2.5-inch Aluminum Series Piggyback shock pair. Spanner wrenches and coil spring wraps are sold separately.

Will my factory wheels and tires work with this lift?

Not all OEM wheel and tire combinations are compatible with this Stage 4 system. Aftermarket wheels with lower offset and less backspace are recommended. ICON Alloys wheels in 17x8.5-inch, 18x9-inch, and 20x9-inch sizes with specific backspace and offset figures are listed as compatible options in the fitment notes.

Does installation require cutting or welding?

No. The ICON Stage 4 Billet Suspension System is a bolt-on system. Installation does not require cutting or welding to the chassis or body.

Are the shocks serviceable after installation?

Yes. All shocks in the Stage 4 system are fully serviceable, including the front remote-reservoir coilovers and the rear Piggyback shocks.
