Per Application Note #323, the kit also installs on stock trucks that have not been fitted with an ICON suspension system.

When a 2020–2026 GM HD 2500/3500 front suspension reaches full extension, the sway bar can contact the stock splash guard. The OEM fix is to trim the plastic unit, which weakens it and leaves an unfinished edge. This kit replaces the guard entirely, restoring full clearance without any cutting or modification to the original part.

Why does the OEM plastic splash guard need to be replaced on lifted or high-travel setups?

Increased down travel from a performance suspension system moves the front suspension closer to full extension than the factory tune allows. At that point the sway bar can contact the stock plastic splash guard. The ICON splash guard kit provides the additional clearance needed to prevent that contact without trimming the OEM part.
