The ICON Vehicle Dynamics 3.0 VS Remote Reservoir/CDCV Front Coilover is a direct OEM bolt-in driver-side front shock for the 2010–2014 Ford Raptor, built around a true 3.0-inch main piston with position-sensitive valving, an internal hydraulic bump zone, and a 10-setting external compression damping control valve. It is sold individually; the passenger-side coilover (part number 95000R) is required for a complete front installation. Lift height is adjustable from 1 to 3.5 inches.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Position-Sensitive Valving Without Sacrificing Control

The 3.0-inch main piston uses digressive rebound and flutter stack compression rather than a small internal bypass piston. That distinction matters on a Raptor-class truck: the larger piston maintains consistent road holding and cornering composure at speed while still delivering the compliance needed on broken terrain. A smaller bypass piston forces a tradeoff between control and sensitivity that this valving approach avoids.

Internal Hydraulic Bump Zone for High-Speed G-Out Protection

An additional internal hydraulic system activates during the last 40 percent of shock travel, generating the resistance needed to resist bottoming under hard landings and high-speed whoops. Because this system is internal rather than a separate external bumpstop, it works within the existing OEM packaging envelope and requires no additional hardware or mounting points.

Ten-Setting Compression Adjuster, Full Stroke

The external Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) is accessible without removing the shock and is effective across the entire stroke, not just a portion of it. Ten high-resolution settings provide a meaningful feel difference from soft to firm, letting the driver dial in compliance for highway miles or stiffen the front end for repeated high-speed off-road use without tools beyond hand adjustment.

Features

  • 3.0-inch main piston: digressive rebound and flutter stack compression valving
  • Internal hydraulic bump zone: activates in the last 40% of travel for bottom-out control
  • 10-setting external CDCV: full-stroke compression adjustment, hand-accessible
  • Remote reservoir: 6063-T832 aluminum, 10-inch, CNC honed, hard anodized, nitrogen charged
  • Eibach 3-5/8" ID springs: chrome silicon steel, ICON-engineered for increased travel
  • OEM bolt-in fitment: direct replacement with optimized reservoir positioning for heat dissipation
  • Com 12 PTFE-lined bearings: oversized 1-inch CNC-machined shock shaft

Who This Is For and Isn't

This coilover suits 2010–2014 Ford Raptor owners who want a direct OEM bolt-in front shock upgrade with position-sensitive 3.0-inch piston performance, adjustable lift from 1 to 3.5 inches, and a hand-adjustable compression damping valve for tuning between street and high-speed off-road use. Factory wheels and tires fit; 35x12.50-inch aftermarket tires are also supported (larger tires may require fender trimming).

This listing is the driver-side unit only. A complete front installation requires the passenger-side coilover (95000R), which is sold separately. It does not fit Raptor model years outside 2010–2014, and it is not a universal or multi-vehicle fitment. California residents: this product carries a Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer, birth anomalies, or other reproductive harm.

Common Questions

Does this listing include both front coilovers?

This listing covers the driver-side front coilover only (SKU 95000L). A complete front installation on the 2010–2014 Ford Raptor requires the passenger-side unit as well, which is sold separately under part number 95000R.

What lift height does this coilover provide?

The 2010–2014 Ford Raptor front coilover offers adjustable ride height from 1 to 3.5 inches of lift, set via the coilover's threaded body during installation.

How does the compression damping adjustment work?

The external Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) on this front coilover provides 10 high-resolution settings and is effective across the entire shock stroke. Adjustment is made by hand at the valve body without removing the shock from the vehicle.

Will factory Raptor wheels and tires clear this coilover?

Factory wheels and tires fit with this coilover installed on the 2010–2014 Ford Raptor. Aftermarket 35x12.50-inch tires are also supported; tires larger than that may fit but could require fender trimming or other modifications.

What is the internal hydraulic bump zone?

The internal hydraulic bump zone is a secondary hydraulic system built inside this front coilover that activates during the last 40 percent of shock travel. It generates high resistance forces to control bottoming under hard landings and high-speed impacts, functioning similarly to an external hydraulic bumpstop but within the shock body itself.
