The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 9 Tubular Overland Suspension System is a complete front-and-rear upgrade for 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma, delivering 1.25–3" of adjustable front lift and 0.5" of rear lift (measured with approximately 600 lb of additional weight in the rear). The system combines 2.5 Series CDXS remote reservoir front coilovers, tubular upper control arms with the Delta Joint PRO ball joint, a front differential drop kit, tubular rear lower links, 2.5 Aluminum Series CDXS remote reservoir rear shocks, and Overland dual-rate rear coil springs into one application-specific package.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) Adjustability

Every shock in this Stage 9 system is equipped with ICON's CDXS valving, which independently controls high-speed and low-speed compression force. Ten detented positions on each adjustment knob allow separate tuning of handling response and overall aggressiveness, useful when transitioning between highway miles and technical terrain without swapping components. Remote reservoirs on both the front coilovers and rear shocks increase oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting the cavitation and damper fade that can develop under sustained hard use.

Corrected Front Geometry and Maximum Travel

The tubular upper control arms replace the OE arms with corrected front-end geometry, added caster, and improved suspension component clearance. The Delta Joint PRO, serviceable and rebuildable, replaces the OE ball joint and allows full bump and droop travel without bind. The front differential drop brackets, combined with ICON's coilover lengths, maximize available front suspension travel and protect CV joint operating angles on 4WD models. Polyurethane differential mounting bushings limit differential movement under load.

Dual-Rate Rear Springs for Loaded Overland Use

The Overland rear coil springs use a dual-rate design: a softer initial rate for on-road comfort and a firmer overload rate that resists bottoming under load. The 0.5" rear lift figure is calibrated for a vehicle carrying approximately 600 lb of additional weight; actual lift will vary as accessory load changes. Tubular rear lower links use dual-durometer greaseless bushings at one end and FK rod ends at the other, balancing free articulation with road-noise isolation. Rear shocks feature integrated bump zones and vehicle-specific valving tuned to work with the front coilovers.

Features

  • CDXS Remote Reservoir Front Coilovers: 2.5 Series, height-adjustable 1.25–3" front lift, vehicle-specific valving
  • Tubular UCAs with Delta Joint PRO: corrected geometry, added caster, full bump/droop travel, serviceable and rebuildable
  • Front Differential Drop Kit (4WD): maximizes CV operating angle and available front wheel travel
  • Tubular Rear Lower Links: dual-durometer greaseless bushings and FK rod ends for articulation and noise isolation
  • 2.5 Aluminum Series CDXS Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks: integrated bump zones, balanced tune with front coilovers
  • Overland Dual-Rate Rear Coil Springs: 0.5" rear lift at approximately 600 lb added weight, bottoming resistance

Who This Is For and Isn't

This Stage 9 system suits 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma owners, primarily 4WD models, who want a complete application-matched suspension upgrade with independent compression damping adjustment, corrected front geometry, and rear spring rates calibrated for outfitted overland builds carrying significant accessory weight.

This system does not fit 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma submodels equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or with rear leaf springs. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. On 2WD Tacoma models, the front differential drop kit (part 55160) included in this package is not needed; ICON notes that 2WD-specific kits are forthcoming. An adjustable track bar is recommended (not included) to realign the axle after installation.

Common Questions

Does this system fit both 4WD and 2WD 2024–2026 Tacomas?

The Stage 9 Tubular Overland system is configured for 4WD Tacoma models. It can be installed on a 2WD Tacoma, but the front differential drop kit (part 55160) included in this package is not needed for 2WD fitment. ICON notes that 2WD-specific kits are coming soon.

Will this system work on a Tacoma with Adaptive Variable Suspension?

No. The Stage 9 Tubular Overland system is not compatible with 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma models equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Verify your Tacoma's suspension configuration before ordering.

How much rear lift does this system provide?

The Overland rear coil springs in this Stage 9 system are designed to deliver 0.5" of rear lift over stock when the vehicle is carrying approximately 600 lb of additional weight. Actual lift height will increase or decrease as accessory and cargo load changes.

What does CDXS adjustment control, and how many settings are available?

CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) independently adjusts high-speed and low-speed compression force. Each adjustment knob on the Stage 9 system's shocks offers 10 detented positions, allowing separate tuning of handling response and overall suspension aggressiveness without tools beyond the knobs themselves.

Is ADAS recalibration required after installing this system?

Yes. Installing the Stage 9 Tubular Overland system on a 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation. This is a vehicle-level requirement and applies regardless of installer.
