3.0 Series Damping Front and Rear
The front coilovers and rear shocks in this system are both ICON 3.0 Series remote reservoir units equipped with CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) valving. CDXS provides independent adjustability of high-speed and low-speed compression force through 10 detented settings on each knob, so the suspension can be tuned separately for handling response and overall aggressiveness without tools beyond the adjustment knobs themselves. The 3.0 Series shock body offers 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone and 100% more in the Bump Zone compared to 2.5 Series shocks; the multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance through the last 40% of travel. Remote reservoirs on both front and rear shocks increase internal oil volume and external surface area, improving heat dissipation and reducing shock fade under sustained hard use.
Corrected Geometry with Tubular UCAs and Delta Joint PRO
The included tubular front upper control arms correct front-end geometry, add built-in caster, and improve suspension component clearance over the OE arms. The OE ball joint is replaced by the ICON Delta Joint PRO, a serviceable and rebuildable unit with 90 degrees of total articulation (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700), allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. The sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in the OE sway bar links through the full range of wheel travel without overstressing OE components.
Rear System: Links, Springs, and Track Bar
Tubular rear upper and lower links are constructed from 1-3/4" x .313-wall DOM tubing with a multi-stage black powder coat finish. PTFE-lined FK rod ends provide increased articulation and reduced deflection; multi-durometer bushings allow noise-free operation and maximum angularity without periodic greasing. The dual-rate rear coil springs use a softer ride-height spring rate combined with a firmer overload rate, yielding 2" of rear lift on non-TRD Sequoias or 0" of rear lift on TRD Off-Road-equipped Sequoias. The billet 6061 aluminum adjustable track bar is CNC-machined and anodized; double adjuster rod end threads allow on-vehicle fine adjustment of track bar length without removal or disassembly.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia owners on most submodels who want 3–4.25" of front lift, support for 35" tires, and independently adjustable compression damping front and rear for both street and off-road use. Owners of 4WD non-TRD Off-Road models should also purchase the ICON Differential Drop Kit (part 55156) or use Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage; TRD Pro models do not require the diff drop.
This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Sequoias with automatic leveling headlights require the additional ICON Air Ride/Auto Headlight Bracket Kit (part 55153). Sequoias with the TRD aluminum skid plate require part 55164. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro submodels will see a reduced front lift range of 1–2.5" and no rear lift; for taller rear ride heights on those trims, consider kit K53252TDS instead.
Common Questions
Does this system work with all 2023–2026 Sequoia submodels?
The Stage 2 3.0 CDXS Tubular system fits most 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia submodels but is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro trims will see a reduced front lift range of 1–2.5" and no rear lift gain; owners wanting more rear height on those trims should consider kit K53252TDS.
What lift height can I expect front and rear?
On most Sequoia submodels, the Stage 2 3.0 CDXS system provides 3–4.5" of front lift and 2" of rear lift over stock. Sequoias equipped with the TRD Off-Road package will see 1–2.5" of front lift and no rear lift change. All lift figures are for a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessory weight will alter the lift range.
What does CDXS compression damping adjustment do?
CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) controls fluid flow under compression with independent adjustability of high-speed and low-speed compression force. Both the front coilovers and rear shocks in this system include 10 detented settings on each knob, allowing separate tuning of handling response and overall aggressiveness without removing the shocks from the vehicle.
Are the shocks rebuildable, and do the UCAs require maintenance?
All ICON shock absorbers in this system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The tubular upper control arms use the ICON Delta Joint PRO, which is serviceable and rebuildable. The rear links use multi-durometer bushings that allow noise-free operation and maximum angularity without periodic greasing or other maintenance.
What additional parts or steps are required after installation?
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installing this suspension system. Sequoias with automatic leveling headlights require the ICON Air Ride/Auto Headlight Bracket Kit (part 55153). Sequoias with the TRD aluminum skid plate require part 55164. Four-wheel-drive models without the TRD Off-Road package should add the ICON Differential Drop Kit (part 55156) or use Toyota TRD axles to prevent potential front axle damage.
