The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 6 3.0 Tubular Suspension System is a complete front and rear suspension upgrade for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra, delivering 2-3.25" of front lift on most i-Force gasoline models and adding triple-rate rear coil springs, an adjustable rear track bar, and electronically controlled 3.0 Series damping front and rear. The system includes nine component kits covering every major suspension link, from front coilovers to rear shocks.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

3.0 Series Damping With Active Electronic Control

The front and rear shocks in this system use ICON's Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) technology, which allows compression damping to be adjusted from soft to firm without leaving the vehicle. ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) goes further: onboard sensors monitor chassis G-forces and movement, then make near-instantaneous damping changes at each shock individually. Configuring the system through the IIC app on an iOS device means the suspension responds to terrain automatically once set up, without requiring driver input on every trail.

The 3.0 Series shock bodies provide 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone and 100% more in the Bump Zone compared to 2.5 Series shocks. The multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance through the last 40% of shock travel, resisting hard landings and unexpected obstacles. Remote reservoirs increase internal oil volume and external surface area for greater heat dissipation and reduced shock fade under sustained hard use. All ICON shock absorbers are fully rebuildable and re-tunable.

Corrected Geometry and Increased Wheel Travel

The included tubular upper control arms are built from steel tubing and replace the OE upper control arm with a design that corrects front-end geometry, adds caster, and improves suspension component clearance. The patented Delta Joint PRO replaces the OE ball joint with a serviceable, rebuildable unit offering 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. ICON states the vehicle-specific shock length yields up to a 40% increase in front wheel travel over stock. The included sway bar drop brackets minimize sway bar link bind through the full range of suspension travel, allowing the OE sway bar links to move freely without overstress.

Triple-Rate Rear Coils and Adjustable Rear Track Bar

The triple-rate rear coil springs use a softer droop and ride rate combined with a firmer overload rate, delivering on-road compliance alongside strong bottoming resistance off-road. On a Tundra without TRD Off-Road or TRD Sport suspension packages, the rear springs net 0.5" of rear lift; on a Tundra equipped with TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, or TRD Pro packages, rear ride height remains at stock. The billet adjustable rear track bar is CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum and anodized to match ICON's billet links; rod-end threads allow fine length adjustment on the vehicle without removal or disassembly, properly centering the rear axle after the lift is set.

Features

  • 3.0 VS CDEV Front Coilovers: remote reservoir, electronically adjustable compression damping, 2-3.25" front lift range on most i-Force gasoline models
  • Tubular UCAs with Delta Joint PRO: corrected geometry, added caster, 90-degree articulation, serviceable and rebuildable
  • Triple-Rate Rear Coil Springs: softer ride rate with firm overload; +0.5" rear lift on non-TRD models, 0" on TRD-equipped models
  • Billet Adjustable Rear Track Bar: CNC-machined 6061 aluminum, anodized, on-vehicle length adjustment via rod-end threads
  • 3.0 VS CDEV Rear Remote Reservoir Shocks: matched tune to front coilovers, active compression damping, 20% increase in rear wheel travel over stock
  • ICON Intelligent Control (IIC): sensor-driven active damping adjustment; iOS device required

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra owners running 4WD who want a complete, electronically managed suspension upgrade with active compression damping control, corrected front geometry, and the ability to run up to 35" tires. It works with OEM wheels and tires and is designed for both on-road comfort and demanding off-road use.

This system is not compatible with Tundra models equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Tundra and Sequoia models with automatic leveling headlights require an additional bracket kit (ICON part 55153). 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package require an ICON Differential Drop (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage; TRD Pro models are exempt from this requirement. Tundra models with the TRD aluminum skid plate require an additional spacer kit (ICON part 55164). ADAS recalibration is required after installation. The IIC app requires an iOS device. For taller rear ride height on TRD-equipped models, a different spring kit (ICON part K53216TS) is needed.

Common Questions

What front lift height will this system give my Tundra?

Front lift height depends on the engine and trim. Most 2022-2026 Tundra models with the i-Force gasoline engine achieve 2-3.25" of front lift over stock. Models with the i-Force MAX hybrid engine achieve 2-2.75". TRD Pro models achieve 0-1.25". SR5 models with the TRD Sport Suspension package achieve 3-4.5". All figures are for a stock-equipped vehicle; adding accessories that increase vehicle weight will affect the actual lift range.

Is this system compatible with my Tundra's factory air suspension or AVS?

The Stage 6 3.0 Tubular system is not compatible with Tundra models equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Buyers with either of those factory systems should confirm compatibility before purchasing.

What additional parts are required for certain Tundra configurations?

Several configurations require additional parts not included in this kit. Tundras with automatic leveling headlights need ICON part 55153. 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package need ICON Differential Drop part 55156 or Toyota TRD axles. Tundras with the factory TRD aluminum skid plate need ICON part 55164. ADAS recalibration by a qualified shop is required after installation on all vehicles.

What components are included in the Stage 6 3.0 Tubular system?

The system includes nine component kits: 3.0 VS CDEV remote reservoir front coilovers, tubular upper control arms with Delta Joint PRO, a sway bar drop kit, tubular rear lower link kit, tubular rear upper link kit, a billet adjustable rear track bar, an IIC install kit, triple-rate rear coil springs, and 3.0 VS CDEV remote reservoir rear shocks.

Does the ICON Intelligent Control system require a smartphone?

Yes. The ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) system is configured and managed through the IIC app, which requires an iOS-operated device. Once configured, the system makes active compression damping adjustments automatically without driver input, but initial setup and tuning require an iOS device.
