The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 3.0 Tubular CDCV Suspension System is a complete six-component lift kit for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra, delivering 2-3.25" of front lift over stock (varies by sub-model and engine; see application notes below) with fully adjustable compression damping front and rear. The system pairs 3.0 Series remote reservoir CDCV front coilovers with tubular upper control arms, a sway bar drop kit, adjustable tubular rear upper and lower links, and 3.0 Series remote reservoir CDCV rear shocks.

3.0 Series Shocks with CDC Valve Damping

The 3.0 Series coilovers and rear shocks included in this system each carry ICON's CDC Valve, an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the remote reservoir across 10 settings of compression damping force, from soft to hard. The larger 3.0 Series shock body provides 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone and 100% more in the Bump Zone compared to 2.5 Series shocks. Increased internal oil volume, greater external surface area, and the remote reservoirs work together to dissipate heat and resist shock fade under sustained hard use. The multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance through the last 40% of shock travel, protecting the vehicle during hard hits or unexpected obstacles. ICON's vehicle-specific shock length yields up to 40% more front wheel travel over stock; the rear shocks yield 20% more rear wheel travel over stock.

Tubular UCAs and Corrected Front Geometry

The tubular front upper control arms correct front-end geometry, add caster, and improve suspension component clearance over the OE arms. The OE ball joint is replaced by the ICON Delta Joint PRO, a serviceable and rebuildable joint (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) with 90 degrees of total articulation that allows full bump and droop travel without bind. The included sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in OE sway bar links across the full range of suspension travel, allowing the suspension to move freely without overstressing OE components.

Adjustable Rear Links Built for Articulation

The tubular rear upper and lower links are constructed from 1-3/4 x .313 wall DOM tubing with a multi-stage black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. PTFE-lined FK rod ends provide increased articulation, reduced deflection, and link arm length adjustability for pinion angle correction. Multi-durometer bushings allow noise-free operation and maximum angularity without periodic greasing or other maintenance.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra owners running a 4WD i-Force gasoline or i-Force MAX hybrid powertrain who want a fully adjustable, high-travel lift with balanced front-to-rear damping tuning and the geometry correction needed to run up to 35" tires. It is also appropriate for TRD Pro, TRD Sport, and other Tundra sub-models, with lift ranges varying by trim as noted in the specifications above.

This system is not compatible with Tundra models equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Tundra and Sequoia models with automatic leveling headlights or load-leveling air suspension require an additional air ride/auto headlight bracket kit (ICON part 55153), sold separately. Vehicles equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package require either the ICON Differential Drop (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage; this does not apply to TRD Pro. Tundra models with the TRD aluminum skid plate require an additional skid plate spacer kit (ICON part 55164), sold separately. Lift heights stated are for a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessory weight will alter the lift range.

Common Questions

What components are included in this Stage 2 system?

The Stage 2 3.0 Tubular CDCV Suspension System for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra includes six assemblies: a 3.0 VS remote reservoir CDCV front coilover kit, a tubular upper control arm kit with Delta Joint PRO, a front sway bar drop kit, a tubular rear lower link kit, a tubular rear upper link kit, and a 3.0 VS remote reservoir CDCV rear shock pair.

How much lift does this system provide?

Front lift range for most 2022-2026 Tundra sub-models with the i-Force gasoline engine is 2-3.25" over stock when the included tubular upper control arms are used. The i-Force MAX hybrid engine yields 2-2.75" of front lift. TRD Pro models achieve 0-1.25" of front lift, and SR5 models with the TRD Sport Suspension package achieve 3-4.5". Rear lift range is 0-1.5" on coil spring models without TRD suspension, and 0-1" on coil spring models with TRD suspension or TRD Pro. All figures are for a stock-equipped vehicle.

Is this system compatible with all 2022-2026 Tundra trims?

The Stage 2 3.0 Tubular CDCV system is not compatible with Tundra models equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Vehicles with automatic leveling headlights require an additional bracket kit sold separately. All vehicles require ADAS recalibration after installation. Compatibility with specific trims should be confirmed against the application notes before purchase.

What tools or additional parts are needed for installation?

4WD Tundra models without the TRD Off-Road package require either the ICON Differential Drop kit (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles to prevent potential front axle damage during installation; TRD Pro is exempt. Tundra models with the factory TRD aluminum skid plate require an additional skid plate spacer kit (ICON part 55164). ADAS recalibration by a qualified technician is required after the suspension installation is complete.

Are the shocks in this system rebuildable?

All ICON shock absorbers in the Stage 2 3.0 Tubular CDCV Suspension System are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The Delta Joint PRO upper control arm ball joint is also serviceable and rebuildable, and the rear DOM tubular links use PTFE-lined FK rod ends that do not require periodic greasing.
