The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 6 Billet CDXS Suspension System is a complete, vehicle-specific 6-inch lift kit for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra, built around 2.5 Series front coilovers and rear shocks with remote reservoirs and ICON's CDXS independent high-speed and low-speed compression damping adjustment. Front ride height is adjustable from 5 to 6 inches over stock on most i-Force gasoline-equipped Tundras; lift range varies by sub-model (see application notes below). Minimum 20-inch diameter wheels are required; OEM wheels are not compatible with this system.

Precise Damping Control On and Off Road

CDXS technology gives each shock absorber two independent compression adjustment circuits: one for high-speed inputs like square-edged trail hits, and one for low-speed inputs like body roll and dive under braking. That separation means a driver can dial in a firm, composed feel for highway miles without sacrificing compliance on rough terrain, rather than accepting a single-knob compromise. All four shock absorbers in this system carry the CDXS feature, so front and rear tuning stay matched as conditions change.

More Front Travel Without Stressing OE Components

The Stage 6 system delivers up to a 40% increase in front wheel travel over stock while keeping CV joint angles in check. The design achieves a full 6 inches of front lift with only 4 inches of crossmember drop. Billet aluminum upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint Pro (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) provide 90 degrees of total articulation and allow on-vehicle caster and camber adjustment, so alignment can be dialed in without removing the arm. Factory track width is maintained, and optimized suspension geometry significantly reduces the bump steer characteristic of stock Tundras.

Structural Components Built for Demanding Terrain

One-piece ductile iron steering knuckles, CNC laser-cut and brake-formed quarter-inch steel crossmembers, and an integrated front skid plate handle the structural loads that come with aggressive off-road use. High-angle greaseable outer tie rods, sway bar drop brackets, heavy-duty front and rear bump stop brackets, improved rear sway bar links and mounts, and a rear track bar bracket work together to reduce bind and maintain geometry through the full range of motion. ICON-engineered triple-rate rear coil springs provide progressive spring rates, compliant on pavement and stable under load off-road, and the system clears 37-inch tires at full articulation.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra owners who want a fully engineered 6-inch lift with advanced damping adjustability, billet upper control arms, and clearance for 37-inch tires, whether the primary use is overlanding, trail driving, or daily driving with occasional off-road use. Lift range varies by sub-model as noted in the specifications above; confirm your Tundra's engine and trim package before ordering.

This system is not compatible with Tundras equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). It requires a minimum 20-inch wheel diameter; OEM wheels will not work with this system. Vehicles with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. Tires larger than 37 inches may fit but will require fender trimming and additional modifications. Lift heights stated are for a stock-weight vehicle; adding accessories will alter the achieved lift range.

Common Questions

What makes the CDXS adjustment different from a standard single-knob shock?

The Stage 6 CDXS shocks provide two independent compression circuits: one governing high-speed damping for sharp trail impacts, and one governing low-speed damping for body motion during cornering and braking. Adjusting one does not affect the other, so the system can be tuned for a specific driving condition without compromising the other end of the performance range.

Will this system fit my Tundra if it has the i-Force MAX hybrid engine?

The Stage 6 system is compatible with i-Force MAX hybrid-equipped Tundras, but the front lift range on those trucks is 4.5 to 5.5 inches over stock rather than the 5 to 6 inches achieved on most i-Force gasoline models. Confirm your engine type before ordering to set accurate expectations for achieved lift height.

Can this system be used with OEM wheels, or are aftermarket wheels required?

OEM wheels are not compatible with this Stage 6 system. A minimum 20-inch wheel diameter is required. ICON recommends ICON Alloys 20x9-inch wheels with 5.625-inch backspace and 16mm offset; other aftermarket wheels meeting the minimum diameter and appropriate offset may also work.

Does the Stage 6 system require any recalibration or dealer service after installation?

Vehicles equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration of those systems after the Stage 6 suspension is installed. This is a separate step from the installation itself and should be performed before returning the vehicle to normal use. Consult a qualified installer or dealer for ADAS recalibration.
