The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 4 Tubular CDXS Suspension System is a complete, 100% bolt-on front and rear upgrade engineered specifically for 2021-2026 Ford F-150 4WD trucks, delivering 2.75-3.5 inches of front lift over stock through vehicle-specific-tuned 2.5-inch CDXS remote-reservoir coilovers, tubular Delta Joint PRO upper control arms, and 2.5 Aluminum Series CDXS piggyback reservoir rear shocks. PowerBoost hybrid-equipped trucks achieve a lift range of 2.5-3.25 inches; Power-Stroke diesel-equipped trucks achieve 2.25-3 inches.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Increased Wheel Travel and Damping Control

The 2.5-inch front coilovers in this system carry ICON's Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) remote reservoirs, which improve shock cooling during sustained off-road use. CDXS valving gives independent adjustability of high-speed and low-speed compression force through 10 detented positions on each adjustment knob, so the truck's handling response and overall aggressiveness can be dialed in separately rather than as a single compromise setting. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies and 7/8-inch hardened chromed steel shafts are used throughout.

Delta Joint PRO Upper Control Arms

The tubular upper control arms in this system use ICON's patented Delta Joint PRO, a rebuildable articulation joint with a chromoly ball and shaft hardened to Rockwell C 55 and graphite-impregnated sintered metal races. The Delta Joint PRO provides 90 degrees of articulation, a 14% improvement in range of motion over the standard Delta Joint, and 56% more bearing surface. Because individual components can be removed, inspected, and replaced without replacing the entire joint, long-term serviceability is built in. These arms also help retain factory alignment spec range and increase caster over stock, which is necessary to accommodate the lift height this system provides.

Balanced Front-to-Rear Performance

The 2.5 Aluminum Series CDXS piggyback reservoir rear shocks (compatible with 0-1 inch of rear lift over stock on most models) use vehicle-specific valving to balance damping performance with the upgraded front end. FK rod end bearings and high-strength alloy CNC-machined lower bar pins are used at key pivot points. All components are 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum where applicable, and the entire system installs without cutting or welding.

Features

  • Front lift range: 2.75-3.5 inches over stock (height-adjustable coilovers); 2.5-3.25 inches on PowerBoost hybrid; 2.25-3 inches on Power-Stroke diesel
  • CDXS remote reservoirs (front): independent 10-position high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment on front coilovers
  • Delta Joint PRO UCAs: tubular upper control arms with rebuildable chromoly ball joint, 90-degree articulation, Rockwell C 55 hardened bearing surface
  • CDXS piggyback reservoir rear shocks: 2.5 Aluminum Series, vehicle-specific valving, compatible with 0-1 inch rear lift
  • 100% bolt-on installation: no cutting or welding required
  • Fully serviceable shocks: all shock absorbers are field-serviceable

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2021-2026 Ford F-150 4WD owners who want a significant front lift, increased wheel travel, and independently adjustable compression damping for mixed on-road and off-road driving. It is compatible with OE steering knuckles only and works with most standard F-150 4WD configurations, including standard, PowerBoost hybrid, and Power-Stroke diesel engines (with the lift ranges noted above).

This system does not fit the F-150 Tremor or F-150 Raptor. It is not compatible with factory-installed electronically controlled suspension or with any aftermarket steering knuckles. Not all OEM wheel and tire combinations clear the lifted geometry; aftermarket wheels with lower offset are recommended. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. This system is not compatible with 2WD F-150 models.

Common Questions

Does this suspension system fit the F-150 Raptor or Tremor?

The ICON Stage 4 Tubular CDXS system does not fit the F-150 Raptor or F-150 Tremor. It is engineered specifically for standard 2021-2026 Ford F-150 4WD configurations and will not install correctly on Raptor or Tremor platforms.

Can this system be used with factory electronic suspension?

No. This Stage 4 system is not compatible with factory-installed electronically controlled suspension. Trucks equipped with that feature require a different solution, and attempting to install this system on such a vehicle is not supported.

What lift height does this system provide on a PowerBoost hybrid or diesel F-150?

On PowerBoost hybrid-equipped F-150 trucks, the Stage 4 system provides a front lift range of 2.5-3.25 inches over stock. On Power-Stroke diesel-equipped trucks, the front lift range is 2.25-3 inches over stock, both lower than the standard 2.75-3.5 inch range due to drivetrain differences.

Is ADAS recalibration required after installing this system?

Yes. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after this Stage 4 suspension system is installed on the F-150. This recalibration is not included with the system and should be performed by a qualified technician.

What wheel and tire sizes are recommended with this lift?

Not all OEM wheel and tire combinations are compatible with the lifted geometry. ICON recommends aftermarket wheels with lower offset: 17x8.5 inches with 5-inch backspace and 6mm offset, 18x9 inches with 5.25-inch backspace and 6mm offset, or 20x9 inches with 5.625-inch backspace and 16mm offset. Recommended tire size is 34x12.50 inches; larger tires may require fender trimming.
