The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 4 Suspension System is a complete front-and-rear lift and performance upgrade for 2021-2026 Ford F-150 4WD trucks, delivering 3.5-4.5 inches of adjustable front lift through 2.5-inch CDCV remote-reservoir coilovers, CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that replicate F-150 Tremor suspension geometry, billet aluminum Delta Joint PRO upper control arms, CDCV piggyback reservoir rear shocks, multi-rate leaf springs, and billet aluminum lowering shackles. PowerBoost hybrid models achieve 3.25-4.25 inches of front lift; Power Stroke diesel models achieve 3-4 inches of front lift.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Tremor Geometry Without the Tremor Badge

The high-strength CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles in this system replicate the suspension geometry of the F-150 Tremor, effectively converting a standard F-150 4WD to Tremor-spec front suspension geometry. Combined with the 2.5-inch coilovers, this geometry change produces a 20% increase in front wheel travel compared to other ICON F-150 suspension kits. More travel means the front axle can follow terrain more closely, keeping tires in contact with the ground longer under load and over obstacles.

Ten-Setting Damping on Every Shock

All shock absorbers in this Stage 4 system (front coilovers and rear piggyback shocks) are equipped with ICON CDC Valves. These externally adjustable valves restrict oil flow into the reservoir and create 10 discrete levels of compression damping force, from soft to firm, adjustable without removing the shock from the vehicle. The 2.5-inch remote-reservoir front coilovers add cooling capacity for sustained off-road use; the 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV piggyback rear shocks use vehicle-specific valving to balance rear damping with the front.

Rear Customization via Multi-Rate Leaf Springs

The included ICON multi-rate leaf packs replace the factory rear leaf springs and blocks entirely, eliminating rear axle wrap and allowing three user-selectable spring rate configurations. As shipped with the billet aluminum 1-inch lowering shackles, Option 1 provides 1.5 inches of rear lift over stock (unloaded). Option 2 raises spring rate 20% over Option 1 and provides 2.75 inches of rear lift unloaded or 1.5 inches under a 400-pound constant load. Option 3 raises spring rate 40% over Option 1 and provides 3.5 inches of rear lift unloaded or 1.0 inch under an 850-pound constant load, making it suited for trucks that regularly carry weight in the bed.

Features

  • Delta Joint PRO UCAs: Billet aluminum upper control arms with ICON's patented rebuildable Delta Joint PRO ball joint: 56% more bearing surface than the standard Delta Joint, full 90-degree articulation, chromoly ball and shaft hardened to Rockwell C 55, graphite-impregnated sintered metal races.
  • CDCV Remote-Reservoir Coilovers: 2.5-inch front coilovers with Continuous Damping Control Valve remote reservoirs; adjustable for 3.5-4.5 inches of front lift on standard powertrains.
  • Tremor Knuckle Conversion: CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles replicate F-150 Tremor geometry and enable 20% more front wheel travel versus other ICON F-150 kits.
  • 10-Level Compression Damping: CDC Valves on all shocks allow external, on-vehicle adjustment across 10 compression damping settings.
  • Multi-Rate Leaf Packs: Three selectable rear spring rate configurations; eliminates factory rear blocks to reduce axle wrap.
  • 100% Bolt-On: No cutting or welding required for installation.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This Stage 4 system suits 2021-2026 Ford F-150 4WD owners who want a comprehensive front-and-rear suspension upgrade with Tremor-geometry steering knuckles, adjustable coilovers, and tuneable rear spring rates, particularly drivers who run the truck loaded or off-road and want on-vehicle damping adjustment without removing shocks. ADAS recalibration is required after installation; trucks equipped with Dynamic Bending Headlamps require an additional sensor bracket kit (ICON part 611071; if also equipped with OnBoard Scales, part 611081 is required instead).

This system does not fit the F-150 Raptor, any F-150 equipped with factory-installed electronically controlled suspension, or any F-150 equipped with OnBoard Scales. It is not compatible with all available OE wheel and tire combinations; aftermarket wheels with lower offset and less backspace than stock are recommended. Larger tires beyond 34x12.50 inches may require fender trimming or other modifications.

Common Questions

Does this system fit the F-150 Raptor or 2WD F-150?

The ICON Stage 4 Suspension System for the 2021-2026 Ford F-150 fits 4WD models only and explicitly does not fit the F-150 Raptor. There is no 2WD application for this system.

What front lift height will I get if my F-150 has the PowerBoost hybrid or Power Stroke diesel engine?

PowerBoost hybrid-equipped F-150s will see a front lift range of 3.25-4.25 inches over stock with this system, and Power Stroke diesel-equipped models will see a front lift range of 3-4 inches over stock, both slightly narrower than the 3.5-4.5-inch range on standard-powertrain trucks due to differences in front-end weight.

Can I adjust damping without removing the shocks from the truck?

Yes. All shock absorbers in this Stage 4 system (front coilovers and rear piggyback shocks) include an ICON CDC Valve that is externally adjustable on the vehicle, providing 10 discrete compression damping settings from soft to firm without disassembly.

What rear lift heights are available, and can I tune for a loaded truck?

The ICON multi-rate leaf packs in this system offer three spring rate configurations. As shipped (Option 1), rear lift is 1.5 inches over stock unloaded. Option 2 increases spring rate 20% and provides 2.75 inches unloaded or 1.5 inches under a 400-pound constant load. Option 3 increases spring rate 40% and provides 3.5 inches unloaded or 1.0 inch under an 850-pound constant load.

Does installation require cutting or welding?

This Stage 4 system is 100% bolt-on with no cutting or welding required for installation. ADAS recalibration is required after install, and trucks with Dynamic Bending Headlamps require an additional ICON sensor bracket kit sold separately.
