The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 4 Billet Suspension System is a complete front and rear coilover upgrade for 2021–2026 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, and 2021–2026 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, delivering 2.5–3.25" of adjustable front lift (gasoline-engine submodels) and 3–4" of rear lift on Tahoe and Yukon, or 2.5–3.5" of rear lift on Suburban and Yukon XL. The system ships as four matched assemblies: front and rear 2.5 Series remote-reservoir coilovers with Compression Damping Control Valves, billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arms, and fabricated rear toe links.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
Remote Reservoirs and CDCV Tuning
The front and rear 2.5 Series coilovers carry remote reservoirs that keep fluid temperatures lower during sustained off-road use, where heat buildup in a conventional shock body degrades damping consistency. Each shock is also equipped with ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve, giving the driver 10 external compression damping settings without removing a wheel. That range covers daily street driving, slow technical terrain, and high-speed desert running without swapping components.
Delta Joint Upper Control Arms
The billet aluminum upper control arms use ICON's patented Delta Joint, a high-angle ball joint with a zinc-plated housing and grease-sealed inner workings. The design allows greater articulation than a conventional ball joint while resisting the corrosion exposure that limits a standard uniball in daily-driven applications. On-vehicle caster and camber adjustment means alignment can be dialed in without pulling the arms, and FK rod-end bearings at the toe links reduce deflection at the new ride height.
Lift Height, Tire Clearance, and ADAS
Lift heights listed are for a stock-equipped vehicle; adding accessories or weight will shift the range. Diesel-engine submodels achieve a narrower 2–2.75" front lift range rather than the 2.5–3.25" figure. The system accommodates OEM wheels and tires. ICON's recommended aftermarket fitments run up to 33x12.50", and fender trimming is required at that size; larger tires may need additional modification. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation.
Features
- Adjustable front lift: 2.5–3.25" over stock on gasoline-engine submodels; 2–2.75" on diesel submodels
- Adjustable rear lift: 3–4" on Tahoe/Yukon; 2.5–3.5" on Suburban/Yukon XL
- 10-setting CDCV: external compression damping adjustment on all four shocks without disassembly
- Delta Joint UCAs: billet aluminum arms with zinc-plated, grease-sealed high-angle ball joint and on-vehicle alignment adjustability
- Remote reservoirs: maintain cooler operating temperatures during extended off-road use
- Fully rebuildable: all shocks are serviceable and re-tunable

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2021–2026 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL owners running gasoline or diesel engines who want a significant, tunable lift with improved off-road wheel travel and the ability to run larger tires, while retaining daily-driver ride quality and factory alignment adjustability.
This system does not fit any Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, or Yukon XL submodel equipped with Magnetic Ride Control or Adaptive Air Ride suspension. Diesel-engine buyers should note the narrower 2–2.75" front lift range rather than the 2.5–3.25" figure. Tires larger than 33x12.50" may require fender modifications beyond trimming, and ADAS recalibration is required after installation.
Common Questions
Does this system work with Magnetic Ride Control or Adaptive Air Ride suspension?
The ICON Stage 4 Billet system does not fit Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, or Yukon XL submodels equipped with Magnetic Ride Control or Adaptive Air Ride suspension. Buyers with those factory systems should confirm compatibility with a fitment specialist before ordering.
What lift height will a diesel-engine Tahoe or Yukon actually see?
Diesel-engine submodels achieve a front lift range of 2–2.75" over stock with this system, not the 2.5–3.25" figure that applies to gasoline-engine vehicles. Rear lift ranges are the same regardless of engine: 3–4" on Tahoe and Yukon, 2.5–3.5" on Suburban and Yukon XL.
What tire size does this system support, and is trimming required?
ICON's recommended maximum aftermarket tire size for this Stage 4 system is 33x12.50". Fender trimming is required even at that size. Larger tires may fit but could require additional fender or body modifications beyond trimming.
What components are included in the Stage 4 Billet kit?
The Stage 4 Billet kit includes a front 2.5 Series remote-reservoir CDCV coilover assembly, a rear 2.5 Series remote-reservoir CDCV coilover assembly, a fabricated rear toe link kit, and billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arms.
Do the shocks need professional servicing, or can they be rebuilt in the field?
All shocks in this Stage 4 system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. Servicing requires proper shock tooling; ICON offers optional spanner wrenches and a needle grease gun adapter kit as add-on accessories for ongoing maintenance.
