The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Suspension System is a complete bolt-on front and rear upgrade for 2015-2020 Ford F150 2WD trucks, delivering 1.75-3" of front lift height adjustment via vehicle-specific-tuned 2.5" coilover shocks, billet aluminum upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint, and 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback rear shocks. All shocks include external 10-position CDCV damping adjustment front and rear.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

External Damping Adjustment, Front and Rear

The front coilovers and rear piggyback shocks both include ICON's Continuous Damping Control Valve (CDCV), which provides 10 externally accessible settings ranging from soft to firm. That means damping character can be dialed in from the outside without disassembly, letting the truck shift between a compliant daily-driver tune and a stiffer off-road or load-carrying setup without a shop visit. The remote reservoir on the front coilovers adds fluid volume that extends consistent damping performance during sustained heavy use by keeping operating temperatures lower.

Delta Joint Upper Control Arms

The billet aluminum upper control arms use ICON's patented Delta Joint, a high-angle ball joint that combines the articulation range of a uniball with the weather resistance of a conventional ball joint. A zinc-plated housing and grease seal protect the joint from corrosion and contamination, while a greasable, metal-on-metal design supports long service life. On the F150, these arms also help retain factory alignment specification range and increase caster over stock, which matters for steering feel and tire wear on a truck driven regularly on pavement as well as off-road.

Bolt-On Installation, No Cutting or Welding

The Stage 5 system installs without cutting or welding. Front coilover bodies are CAD-plated for corrosion resistance and use 7/8" shafts; rear shocks feature one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders. FK Rod End bearings are used throughout for longevity and minimal deflection. The system ships in multiple boxes; coilover heights stated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2015-2020 Ford F150 owners running a rear-wheel-drive (2WD/RWD) configuration who want 1.75-3" of front lift, external damping adjustability, and the ability to run larger aftermarket wheels and tires. Aftermarket wheels with lower offset or less backspace than stock are recommended. ICON Alloys in 17x8.5" (5.00" backspace / 6mm offset), 18x9" (5.25" backspace / 6mm offset), and 20x9" (5.625" backspace / 16mm offset) are specifically noted as compatible options.

This system is not compatible with 4WD F150 models. It is not compatible with all available OE wheel and tire combinations, and stock wheels may not clear the coilovers. F150s equipped with the Power-Stroke diesel engine have a reduced front lift range of 1.25-2.5" over stock. Tires larger than 33x11.50" may require fender trimming or additional modifications.

Common Questions

Does this system work on 4WD F150 trucks?

The ICON Stage 5 system (K93095) is compatible only with rear-wheel-drive (2WD/RWD) 2015-2020 Ford F150 models. Four-wheel-drive F150 configurations require a different ICON system designed for that drivetrain.

What lift height does this system provide?

The front coilovers in this Stage 5 system are height-adjustable from 1.75" to 3" of lift over stock on most 2015-2020 F150 2WD models. F150s with the Power-Stroke diesel engine have a reduced front lift range of 1.25-2.5" over stock. The included rear shocks are compatible with 0-1" of rear lift on most models.

Can I keep my factory wheels with this system?

The Stage 5 system is not compatible with all OE wheel and tire combinations. Aftermarket wheels with lower offset or less backspace than stock are recommended. ICON Alloys in 17x8.5", 18x9", and 20x9" sizes with specific backspace and offset figures are noted as compatible options in the application data.

What does the CDCV adjustment do, and how many settings does it have?

The Continuous Damping Control Valve (CDCV) on the front coilovers and rear piggyback shocks provides 10 externally accessible damping settings, ranging from soft to firm. Adjustments are made from outside the shock body without disassembly, allowing the driver to tune ride character for pavement, trail, or load-carrying use.

Does installation require cutting or welding?

The ICON Stage 5 system is a bolt-on installation with no cutting or welding required. The system ships in multiple boxes, and an installation guide is included.
