The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 1 Coilover System is a complete front-and-rear suspension upgrade for 4WD 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks (single rear wheel models, diesel engines), delivering 2.5–3 inches of front lift over stock through 2.5 Series remote reservoir coilovers paired with rear leaf spring expansion packs, 2.0 Aluminum Series internal reservoir shocks, a 12-inch U-bolt kit, a 1-inch cast block kit, and a 2-inch rear bump stop spacer kit.

Coilover Conversion Up Front

Replacing the factory front suspension with 2.5 Series remote reservoir coilovers gives the F-250 and F-350 a wider range of damping control than a standard shock-and-spring setup. The remote reservoir separates the oil and nitrogen charge from the main shock body, reducing heat buildup during sustained off-road use and maintaining consistent damping feel. Ride height is adjustable across the full 2.5–3-inch front lift range, so owners can dial in stance without swapping components. Alignment cams are included to restore proper caster after the lift, keeping steering geometry within spec.

Rear System Built Around the Factory Leaf Pack

The Stage 1 system adds leaf spring expansion packs rather than replacing the factory rear springs outright. The expansion packs increase compliance and reduce axle wrap, a meaningful improvement for trucks that see loaded hauling or rough terrain. The 2.0 Aluminum Series internal reservoir rear shocks are tuned specifically for this application. On F-250 models the rear block kit adds approximately 0.5 inches of rear lift over stock; on F-350 models the same kit results in approximately 0.5 inches less rear ride height than stock. No driveshaft modifications are required for installation.

Towing Capacity Unchanged

The Stage 1 system is engineered to improve ride quality and reduce body roll compared to stock without reducing the truck's towing capacity. For buyers who use their Super Duty as a daily driver and a work or tow vehicle, that means the suspension upgrade does not force a tradeoff between on-road comfort and rated capability.

Features

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 4WD 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty owners with diesel engines who want a 2.5–3-inch front lift with improved ride quality for towing, construction-site use, and mixed on- and off-road driving without giving up towing capacity or requiring driveshaft work.

This system does not fit 2WD Super Duty models, F-350 Cab and Chassis models, or F-250/F-350 trucks with gasoline engines (the leaf springs in this kit are rated for diesel engines only). It does not fit dual rear wheel configurations. An adjustable track bar (sold separately) may be needed to correct axle alignment and bump steer geometry; the ICON track bar bracket (part #64039) is also recommended for front lift in the 2.5–5.5-inch range.

Common Questions

Does this system fit my 2WD F-250 or F-350?

The ICON Stage 1 Coilover System (K63191) is compatible with 4WD models only. It does not fit 2WD Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty trucks.

Will the leaf springs in this kit work with a gas engine?

No. The leaf spring expansion packs included in this Stage 1 system are rated for diesel engines only. Owners of gasoline-powered F-250 or F-350 trucks should contact ICON for an appropriate alternative before ordering.

Do I need to modify the driveshaft to install this system?

No driveshaft modifications are required for the ICON Stage 1 Coilover System on 2011–2016 Ford F-250/F-350 4WD trucks. The coilover conversion is designed as a bolt-in installation at the 2.5–3-inch lift range this kit covers.

Will my stock wheels and tires still fit after installation?

Yes. The Stage 1 system is confirmed compatible with OEM wheels and tires. Aftermarket tires up to 35x12.50 inches are also recommended; larger tires may fit but could require fender trimming or other modifications.

Is a track bar or bump steer correction needed?

An adjustable track bar may be needed to realign the front axle left-to-right after installation. ICON also recommends track bar bracket part #64039 to correct bump steer geometry when running 2.5–5.5 inches of front lift. Both are sold separately.
