The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Suspension System is a complete front-and-rear upgrade for 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra trucks, delivering 1–3 inches of adjustable lift through vehicle-specific-tuned 2.5-inch coilover shocks up front and 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback shocks with a rear expansion pack in back. The system ships as four matched kits (front coilover kit, tubular upper control arm kit, rear expansion pack, and rear piggyback shock pair) and installs without cutting or welding.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

More Wheel Travel, Controlled Front to Rear

The front coilovers run a remote reservoir that dissipates heat during sustained off-road use, keeping damping consistent when stock shocks would begin to fade. The rear 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks use one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders and 7/8-inch polished chrome shafts, and the included rear expansion pack adds 1.5 inches of lift at the rear for improved ride quality under load. Vehicle-specific valving at both ends means the front and rear damping characteristics are tuned to work together rather than independently.

Delta Joint Upper Control Arms

The tubular upper control arms use ICON's patented Delta Joint, a high-angle ball joint that combines the articulation range of a uniball with the sealed, greaseable construction of a conventional ball joint. A zinc-plated housing and a tough grease seal protect the joint from moisture and debris, addressing the corrosion vulnerability that makes standard uniballs a poor fit for daily-driven trucks. The metal-on-metal greaseable design allows noise-free operation and field serviceability over the life of the arm.

Bolt-On Installation, OEM Wheel Compatibility

The Stage 5 system is 100% bolt-on. No cutting or welding is required. OEM wheels and tires fit the system as installed. The coilover body is CAD-plated for corrosion resistance, and 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components are used throughout. FK rod end bearings are included for extended longevity and minimal deflection. All shocks are fully serviceable.

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Stage 5 system suits 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra owners who want a complete front-and-rear suspension upgrade with 1–3 inches of adjustable lift, increased wheel travel, and the ability to run up to 35-inch tires on OEM or compatible aftermarket wheels without cutting or welding during installation.

The tubular upper control arm included in this kit is not compatible with all subframe-drop lift kits. Tundra owners running a subframe-drop setup may require the billet upper control arm (ICON part 58560DJ) instead of the tubular UCA included here. The system is not compatible with the rear TRD sway bar kit. Recommended tire sizes (35x12.50 inches) require fender trimming. Coilover lift heights stated are for a stock-equipped vehicle. A bump stop spacer kit (sold separately) is available if additional thread adjustment beyond the maximum recommendation is needed.

Common Questions

What vehicles does this suspension system fit?

The ICON Stage 5 Suspension System is designed for 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra trucks. It is not confirmed for other Toyota platforms. The 2008–2022 Sequoia shares some component part numbers, but the complete Stage 5 kit (K53025T) is listed for the Tundra application specifically.

Does this system require cutting or welding to install?

No cutting or welding is required. The ICON Stage 5 system is a 100% bolt-on installation on a stock-equipped 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra. However, running the recommended 35x12.50-inch tire size does require fender trimming.

Is this system compatible with a subframe-drop lift kit?

The tubular upper control arm included in this Stage 5 kit is not compatible with all subframe-drop lift kits. Tundra owners with a subframe-drop setup may need the ICON billet upper control arm (part 58560DJ) instead, which is sold separately.

What is included in the Stage 5 system?

The Stage 5 kit includes four matched assemblies: a 2.5 VS remote-reservoir front coilover kit, a tubular upper control arm kit with Delta Joint, a rear expansion pack, and a pair of 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback rear shocks. All four ship together under SKU K53025T.

Will OEM Tundra wheels and tires fit after installation?

Yes. The ICON Stage 5 system is confirmed compatible with OEM Toyota Tundra wheels and tires. For aftermarket fitment, ICON recommends 17x8.5-inch wheels with 5.75-inch backspace, 18x9-inch with 6.00-inch backspace, or 20x9-inch with 5.625-inch backspace and 16mm offset.

Is the rear TRD sway bar kit compatible with this system?

No. The ICON Stage 5 Suspension System for the 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra is not compatible with the rear TRD sway bar kit. Owners running a rear TRD sway bar should confirm compatibility before purchasing.
