The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 2 Suspension System for the 2005–2011 Toyota Hilux delivers a 0–3" height-adjustable lift through a fully bolt-on combination of 2.5" internal-reservoir coilovers up front and 2.0 aluminum-body monotube shocks with a 1" rear shackle kit, tuned specifically for the Hilux's stiffer chassis across varying payloads and terrain.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
Tuned for the Hilux Chassis
The Hilux carries a notably stiffer chassis than comparable trucks, and ICON's vehicle-specific shock tune accounts for that directly. A more robust damping calibration maintains control across differing payloads and road surfaces, from paved highways to rough off-road terrain, without sacrificing everyday ride quality. The result is a front-to-rear balance that feels composed whether the bed is empty or loaded.
Adjustable Lift with Retained Payload Rating
The 2.5" coilovers are height-adjustable from 0–3", letting owners dial in the lift that suits their wheel, tire, and use-case without committing to a fixed ride height. At the 3" front setting, the included 1" rear shackle kit lifts the rear while retaining the factory payload rating and allowing additional suspension up-travel. Rear springs (sold separately) can add up to 2" of additional rear lift height to match a full 3" front adjustment.
Bolt-On Construction, Serviceable Components
Every component installs without drilling, cutting, or welding. The 2.5" coilover body is CAD-plated for corrosion resistance and features a 7/8" shaft with FK rod end bearings for longevity and minimal deflection under load. The 2.0 aluminum-body rear shocks run a 5/8" shaft. All shocks are fully serviceable. CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components are used throughout.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2005–2011 Toyota Hilux owners who want a bolt-on lift of 0–3" with a front-to-rear performance suspension upgrade, including those running stock or recommended aftermarket wheels up to 33" tires, and those carrying varying payloads who need a tune that handles both loaded and unloaded conditions.
This system does not fit any Toyota Hilux outside the 2005–2011 model years, and it is not a fit for other Toyota models. Coilover height references are calibrated for a stock-equipped vehicle; heavily modified or expedition-loaded builds may require the separately available 700 lb/in expedition coil. Tires larger than 33" x 11.25" may require fender trimming and additional modifications. Rear springs for additional rear lift height beyond the included 1" shackle are sold separately.
Common Questions
What vehicles does this Stage 2 system fit?
The ICON Stage 2 Suspension System is designed specifically for the 2005–2011 Toyota Hilux. It does not fit other model years or other Toyota models. Fitment is confirmed for stock-equipped vehicles; the coilover height settings are referenced to a stock build.
What lift height does this system provide?
The front 2.5" coilovers are height-adjustable from 0–3" of lift. The included 1" rear shackle kit lifts the rear while retaining the factory payload rating. Separately available rear springs can add up to 2" of additional rear lift to match the full 3" front setting.
Does installation require cutting, drilling, or welding?
No. The ICON Stage 2 system for the 2005–2011 Toyota Hilux is a 100% bolt-on system. No drilling, cutting, or welding is required. An installation guide is included; a spanner wrench for coilover preload adjustment is available separately.
Will this system work with stock wheels and tires?
OEM wheels and tires are confirmed to fit with this system. Recommended aftermarket wheel sizes are 17x8.5" (4.75" backspace / 0mm offset), 18x9" (5.00" backspace / 0mm offset), and 20x9" (5.00" backspace / 0mm offset). Tires up to 33" x 11.25" are recommended; larger sizes may require fender trimming.
Are the shocks serviceable, and is there an option for heavier builds?
All shocks in the ICON Stage 2 system are fully serviceable. For heavily equipped or expedition-loaded Hilux builds, a 700 lb/in expedition coil is available separately to handle the additional weight and maintain proper damping performance.
