The ICON V.S. 3.0 Series Remote Reservoir Coilover Conversion Kit is a bolt-in front suspension upgrade for 2005–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks, delivering a 3.0-inch shock body, 10-level compression adjustability via ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve, and a lift range of 3.0–6.25 inches over stock depending on model year, engine, and Tremor package fitment.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

More Damping Control, Less Fade

The 3.0 Series shock body carries 50% more piston surface area than a 2.5 Series unit. On a heavy-duty truck that sees loaded towing, rock crawling, and high-speed desert running in the same week, that larger piston translates directly into more consistent damping force across the full range of suspension inputs, not just at the extremes. The remote reservoir adds oil volume and external surface area, pulling heat away from the shock body during sustained hard use so damping character stays predictable rather than fading as temperatures climb.

Dial In the Tune Without Pulling the Shock

ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve gives 10 distinct compression settings adjustable with a single knob turn. That range covers street commuting, slow technical crawling, and wide-open desert travel without any disassembly. The shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, so the tune can be refined further as driving conditions or vehicle weight change over time.

Engineered Specifically for Super Duty Geometry

The coilover mounts in the factory coil bucket location (the coil centering cup must be removed during installation), so no fabrication or custom brackets are required. Vehicle-specific valving, FK Rod End bearings, a 7/8-inch induction-hardened chrome-plated shock shaft, 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components, and Cerakoted steel cylinders are all matched to F-250/F-350 suspension geometry and load demands. ICON coil springs included with the kit carry a lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage.

Features

  • 3.0" shock body: 50% more piston surface area versus 2.5 Series for increased stability and damping capacity
  • CDCV compression adjustment: 10 levels of high-resolution compression damping, adjustable by hand
  • Remote reservoir: expanded oil volume and heat dissipation to resist shock fade under sustained use
  • Bolt-in installation: fits OE coil bucket location; no custom fabrication required
  • Fully rebuildable and revalveable: 7/8" induction-hardened chrome-plated shaft, Cerakoted steel cylinders, FK Rod End bearings
  • ICON coil springs included: lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage

Who This Is For and Isn't

This kit suits 2005–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty owners running 4WD who want a significant front lift with tunable, fade-resistant damping for towing, overlanding, or off-road use. Factory wheels fit without modification; aftermarket 35–37-inch tires are supported depending on model year.

This kit does not fit 2WD Super Duty models, and it covers the front axle only. Rear suspension is not included. Trucks equipped with the Tremor package have a reduced lift range compared to non-Tremor trucks of the same year. Lift height ranges vary by engine and model year: diesel and gas trucks of the same year achieve different lift ranges, and Tremor-equipped trucks of any powertrain have a lower lift range than non-Tremor trucks. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. If adding ICON 2.5 or 3.0 Series remote reservoir secondary shocks, reservoir doubler kit part number 611003 is also required and is sold separately. Secondary shock options are available separately.

Common Questions

Does this kit fit both gas and diesel F-250/F-350 Super Duty trucks?

The ICON 61801C coilover conversion kit fits 2005–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks in both gas and diesel configurations. Lift height ranges vary by engine and model year: diesel and gas trucks of the same year achieve different lift ranges, and Tremor-equipped trucks of any powertrain have a lower lift range than non-Tremor trucks.

What lift height will this kit give my truck?

Lift range depends on model year, engine, and Tremor package. The kit delivers 3.0–6.25 inches of front lift over stock across the full application range. Lift heights are measured on a stock-equipped 4WD Crew Cab diesel; individual results vary by cab style, bed length, and added weight. See the Specifications table for the exact range by year and configuration.

Is this a complete front suspension kit, or are additional parts required?

The ICON V.S. 3.0 coilover conversion kit includes the front coilovers and ICON coil springs. It covers the front axle only; rear suspension components are sold separately. If pairing with ICON 2.5 or 3.0 Series remote reservoir secondary shocks, reservoir doubler kit part number 611003 is also required and sold separately. ADAS recalibration is required after installation.

What does the CDCV compression adjustment actually change?

The Compression Damping Control Valve on this coilover kit controls fluid flow under compression, offering 10 distinct settings adjustable by turning a knob. A softer setting absorbs small road imperfections on the street; a firmer setting reduces body motion during towing or high-speed off-road driving. Adjustment requires no tools and no shock removal.

Will factory wheels and tires still fit after installation?

Factory wheels fit this ICON coilover conversion kit without modification. For aftermarket tires, 2005–2016 Super Duty models support up to 35x12.50-inch tires without modification (37x12.50-inch requires fender trimming). On 2017–2026 models, 37x12.50-inch tires fit; larger sizes may require fender trimming and additional modifications.
