The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Remote Reservoir Front Coilover Conversion Kit is a bolt-in front suspension upgrade for 2005–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks, delivering 4–5.5 inches of front lift over stock on a 4WD Crew Cab diesel, with exact lift range varying by model year, engine, and Tremor package. The kit replaces the factory front coil arrangement with a 2.5-inch remote reservoir coilover built on ICON's V.S. 2.5 Series shock platform.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Bolt-In Fit with Room to Tune

The coilover mounts directly into the OE coil bucket location. The factory coil centering cup must be removed before installation, but no custom fabrication is required. Once installed, the ride height is user-adjustable across the full 4–5.5-inch lift window, letting the owner dial in stance without pulling the suspension apart. That adjustability also means the setup can be fine-tuned as tire size, payload, or use case changes over time.

V.S. 2.5 Series Shock Platform

The 2.5-inch remote reservoir coilover at the center of this kit draws on ICON's V.S. 2.5 Series shock line. Vehicle-specific valving is calibrated for the F-250/F-350's weight and suspension geometry, and FK Rod End bearings reduce deflection and extend service life compared to rubber bushings. Corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock bodies with 7/8-inch shafts are built to handle repeated off-road use. ICON-engineered coil springs carry a lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage.

Fully Serviceable and Secondary-Shock Ready

The coilover is fully rebuildable and revalveable, so the investment can be maintained rather than replaced when valving needs change or components wear. The coilover conversion design also opens the door to adding a secondary shock for additional damping; if a 2.5 Series or 3.0 Series remote reservoir secondary shock is added, reservoir doubler kit part number 611003 is also required.

Features

  • Bolt-in installation: fits OE coil bucket location (coil centering cup removal required)
  • Ride height adjustable: 4–5.5 inches of front lift over stock (4WD Crew Cab diesel baseline; see application notes for year/engine/Tremor variations)
  • Vehicle-specific valving: calibrated for F-250/F-350 Super Duty suspension geometry and weight
  • FK Rod End bearings: reduced deflection and extended longevity versus rubber bushings
  • ICON-engineered coil springs: lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage
  • Fully rebuildable and revalveable: CAD-plated 2.5-inch shock bodies with 7/8-inch shafts

Who This Is For and Isn't

This kit suits 2005–2026 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty owners running 4WD who want a bolt-in front lift with user-adjustable ride height, improved damping over stock, and a fully serviceable coilover platform built for repeated on- and off-road use.

This kit does not fit 2WD Super Duty models. It covers the front suspension only; rear lift components are sold separately. Trucks equipped with the Tremor package will see a different lift range than the baseline figures. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require professional recalibration after installation. If adding a 2.5 Series or 3.0 Series remote reservoir secondary shock, reservoir doubler kit 611003 is required separately.

Common Questions

Does this kit fit 2WD F-250 and F-350 trucks?

No. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilover Conversion Kit is designed exclusively for 4WD F-250 and F-350 Super Duty models. It does not fit 2WD configurations.

How much front lift will this kit provide?

The lift range depends on model year, engine, and whether the truck has the Tremor package. The baseline range is 4–5.5 inches over stock for 4WD Crew Cab diesel trucks (2005–2019 and 2023–2026 non-Tremor). Tremor-equipped trucks and certain gas models will see different ranges; the full breakdown by year and configuration is listed in the Specifications table above.

Is any modification to the factory suspension required for installation?

The coilover conversion bolts into the OE coil bucket location, but the factory coil centering cup must be removed before the kit can be installed. No custom fabrication is required beyond that step.

Can a secondary shock be added to this setup?

Yes. The coilover conversion design is compatible with secondary shock additions. If a 2.5 Series or 3.0 Series remote reservoir secondary shock is used, ICON reservoir doubler kit part number 611003 is also required and is sold separately.

Does installation affect the truck's driver assistance systems?

Yes. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require professional recalibration after this coilover conversion kit is installed. This applies regardless of model year.

Are the coilovers rebuildable if valving needs to change?

Yes. The V.S. 2.5 Series coilovers in this kit are fully rebuildable and revalveable, so the shocks can be serviced or retuned rather than replaced when use cases or conditions change.
