The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Rear Coilover Kit with Remote Reservoir and CDCV is a bolt-on rear suspension upgrade for 2021–2026 Ford Bronco (4-door, excluding Bronco Raptor), delivering up to 14" of wheel travel and 1.25–3" of rear lift depending on trim. The kit ships as a pair and fits both Sasquatch and non-Sasquatch equipped Broncos, with lift range varying by package and body configuration.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
More Travel, Less Fade
The 2.5" shock body and increased piston area over stock components maximize available wheel travel (up to 14") while the remote reservoir substantially increases shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area. Under sustained off-road use, heat buildup causes damper fade and cavitation; the reservoir addresses both by keeping operating temperatures lower across extended runs. The result is consistent damping performance whether the trail is short or the day is long.
Dialed Compression Damping via CDCV
ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve provides 10 positions of external compression adjustment without tools. Turning the valve changes fluid flow under compression, letting the driver move between a compliant street tune and a firmer off-road setting without removing the shock. Vehicle-specific valving and shock length are tuned for the Bronco's geometry rather than adapted from a universal platform.
Progressive Triple-Rate Springs
ICON's engineered triple-rate coil springs use a softer initial rate at ride height that ramps up progressively as the coil compresses. The softer initial rate improves ride compliance on pavement and moderate terrain; the increasing rate resists bottoming under hard compression. These springs are optimized for a near-stock-weight Bronco: adding significant cargo or accessories to the rear will compress the initial rate and result in lower-than-advertised ride height.
Features
- 2.5" shock body: larger bore and increased piston area over stock for maximum travel
- Remote reservoir with CDCV: 10-position external compression damping adjustment; reservoir resists fade and cavitation
- Triple-rate progressive coil springs: ICON-engineered for the Bronco; softer at ride height, ramps up under compression
- 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC components: CAD-plated shock bodies with 7/8" diameter shaft
- FK rod end bearings: extended longevity and minimal deflection
- Fully rebuildable and re-tunable: 100% bolt-on installation; no drilling, cutting, or welding required

Who This Is For and Isn't
This kit suits 2021–2026 Ford Bronco owners (Sasquatch and non-Sasquatch, 2-door and 4-door) who want a rebuildable, externally adjustable rear coilover with remote reservoir for mixed street and off-road use, and who need 1.25–3" of rear lift to run larger wheel and tire combinations.
This kit does not fit the Ford Bronco Raptor. It is not compatible with 2-door models at the same lift figures as 4-door models (2-door Broncos will sit approximately 0.5" taller than the advertised range). Running 37" tires requires the addition of up-travel limiters (ICON part 611074). Routing the reservoir hose requires a separate hose routing bracket: part 611072 for factory lower links or part 611073 for ICON tubular lower links (ICON billet links include bracketry). Rear reservoir brackets may interfere with some aftermarket step or rock slider mounts, and modifications may be required. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. Common Questions
Does this kit fit the Ford Bronco Raptor?
No. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Rear Coilover Kit (48710C) does not fit the Ford Bronco Raptor. It is designed for 2021–2026 Ford Bronco 2-door and 4-door models only, in both Sasquatch and non-Sasquatch configurations.
What lift height will I get with the Sasquatch package versus without it?
On a 4-door Bronco without the Sasquatch package, this rear coilover kit provides 2–3" of lift over stock. On a 4-door Bronco with the Sasquatch package, the lift range is 1.25–2.25". Two-door models will sit approximately 0.5" taller than the 4-door figures in both cases. Lift heights are based on a stock-weight vehicle.
Is a separate hose routing bracket required?
Yes. Because these rear coilovers mount in a shaft-up orientation, the reservoir hose must be routed along the rear lower links. Factory lower links require ICON part 611072; ICON tubular lower links require part 611073. ICON billet links incorporate the bracketry into their design and do not require a separate bracket.
What additional parts are needed when running 37-inch tires?
When running 37" tires with this rear coilover kit, ICON's up-travel limiters (part 611074) are required for the rear. Coilover bump stop spacers are also recommended when fitting 37" tires, regardless of Sasquatch configuration.
Does installation require drilling, cutting, or welding?
No. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Rear Coilover Kit is a 100% bolt-on installation and requires no drilling, cutting, or welding. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) recalibration is required after installation, and rear reservoir brackets may interfere with some aftermarket step or rock slider mounts.
