The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Rear Coilover Kit is a bolt-on, remote-reservoir rear suspension upgrade for the 2021–2026 Ford Bronco, sold as a pair. On 4-door non-Sasquatch Broncos it delivers 2–3" of rear lift; on 4-door Sasquatch-equipped Broncos it delivers 1.25–2.25" of rear lift. Heavy-rate progressive dual-rate coil springs are included. This kit does not fit the Bronco Raptor.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
2.5" Shock Body Where Stock Falls Short
The larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area give the rear suspension more oil volume and a greater damping range than the factory shock can provide. ICON's vehicle-specific valving is calibrated for the Bronco's weight and geometry, so the improvement shows up on pavement as well as on trail: not just in peak travel numbers but in the composed, controlled feel between bumps. Up to 14" of wheel travel is available, a meaningful gain over stock that translates directly into traction on broken terrain.
Remote Reservoirs for Sustained Hard Use
Remote reservoirs increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting the damper fade that builds during extended off-road runs. When a shock overheats, oil cavitates and damping becomes inconsistent; the reservoir delays that threshold significantly. The shaft-up mounting orientation routes the reservoir hose along the rear lower links, so ICON supplies separate hose routing kits for each link type: part #611072 for OEM rear links and part #611073 for ICON tubular rear links. ICON billet links incorporate the bracketry into their design and do not require a separate kit.
Heavy-Rate Springs for Loaded Builds
The included progressive dual-rate coil springs carry a heavier spring rate than ICON's standard rear springs. They are optimized for Broncos that regularly carry added weight in the rear: overland gear, a spare tire carrier, a rear drawer system. When the Bronco is unloaded, the stiffer rate produces a slight positive rake (nose-low attitude); buyers who run their Bronco unloaded most of the time should consider ICON's standard-rate rear coilovers instead. Lift height ranges stated apply to 4-door models; 2-door Broncos will sit approximately 0.5" taller than the published range.
Features
- 2.5" shock body: larger bore and increased piston area over stock for greater damping range and up to 14" wheel travel
- Remote reservoir: expands oil volume and heat dissipation to resist damper fade under sustained off-road use
- Progressive dual-rate heavy springs: ICON-engineered coil springs optimized for loaded Broncos; included in the kit
- 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components: CNC-machined, CAD-plated shock bodies with 7/8" diameter shaft
- FK rod end bearings: extended longevity and minimal deflection at the mounting points
- Fully rebuildable and re-tunable: 100% bolt-on installation; no drilling, cutting, or welding required

Who This Is For and Isn't
This kit suits 2021–2026 Ford Bronco owners (4-door non-Sasquatch or 4-door Sasquatch) who want a significant rear suspension upgrade with lift, increased wheel travel, and the thermal headroom for sustained trail use. The heavy-rate springs are best matched to builds that carry consistent rear weight: gear, a tire carrier, or a drawer system.
This kit does not fit the Ford Bronco Raptor. Running 37" tires requires coilover bump stop spacers (part #611074) and up-travel limiters for the rear. Reservoir brackets may interfere with some aftermarket step or rock slider mounts, and modifications may be required. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. A hose routing kit (sold separately) is required when running OEM rear links (part #611072) or ICON tubular rear links (part #611073).
Common Questions
Does this kit fit the Ford Bronco Raptor?
No. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Rear Coilover Kit is not compatible with the Ford Bronco Raptor. It fits 2021–2026 Ford Bronco 4-door non-Sasquatch and 4-door Sasquatch models only.
What lift height will I get on my Bronco?
On a 4-door Bronco without the Sasquatch package, this rear coilover kit provides 2–3" of rear lift. On a 4-door Sasquatch-equipped Bronco, it provides 1.25–2.25" of rear lift. Two-door Broncos will sit approximately 0.5" taller than those published ranges.
Can I run 37" tires with this kit?
Running 37" tires with this rear coilover kit requires coilover bump stop spacers (ICON part #611074) and up-travel limiters for the rear. Without those parts, 37" tires are not recommended. 35" x 12.50" tires fit without additional hardware.
Is a hose routing kit included?
A hose routing kit is not included. Because the shocks mount in a shaft-up orientation, the reservoir hose must be routed along the rear lower links. Buyers running OEM rear links need part #611072; those running ICON tubular rear links need part #611073. ICON billet links incorporate the routing bracketry and do not require a separate kit.
Will my Advanced Driver Assistance Systems need recalibration after installation?
Yes. Installing this rear coilover kit changes the vehicle's ride height, which requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This applies to all supported 2021–2026 Ford Bronco models and should be performed by a qualified technician after installation.
Are these shocks rebuildable?
Yes. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series rear coilovers are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The shocks are also fully serviceable, meaning valving and internals can be refreshed rather than requiring full replacement after hard use.
