The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilovers are a bolt-on front suspension upgrade for 2021–2026 Ford F-150 4WD and Tremor trucks, sold as a pair with an internal nitrogen reservoir. Lift height range varies by powertrain: 3.5–4.5" on gas and flex-fuel models, 3.25–4.25" on PowerBoost hybrid models, 3–4" on Power-Stroke diesel models, and 2.5–3" on Tremor models. All non-Tremor F-150 sub-models also require the ICON Front Knuckle Kit (part 94000), and all fitments require ICON Delta Joint Pro Upper Control Arms.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Application-Specific Length for Maximum Wheel Travel

These coilovers are built to the exact length required for the F-150 Tremor and other F-150 4WD sub-models equipped with the ICON Front Knuckle Kit. That application-specific geometry translates directly into more usable wheel travel than a generic coilover can provide, which matters when the front suspension is compressing hard over rocks, ruts, or uneven terrain. More travel means the wheel stays in contact with the ground longer, giving the driver more control in the moments that count.

2.5" Shock Body with Vehicle-Specific Valving

The larger 2.5" shock body increases piston area over the factory unit, which improves damping force and consistency across a wider range of terrain and speeds. ICON's vehicle-specific valving is calibrated for the F-150's weight and geometry rather than adapted from a universal tune, so the shock responds predictably whether the truck is on a highway on-ramp or a washboard two-track. The internal nitrogen reservoir maintains consistent damping performance under sustained hard use by separating the nitrogen charge from the oil.

6061 Aluminum and CAD-Plated Construction

CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum components keep unsprung weight in check while maintaining the structural rigidity needed for off-road use. The corrosion-resistant CAD-plated shock body and 7/8" shaft resist rust in wet and muddy conditions. FK rod end bearings at the mounting points provide extended service life and minimal deflection under lateral load, which preserves alignment geometry over time. The lower bar pin is CNC-machined from high-strength alloy. Installation is 100% bolt-on with no drilling, cutting, or welding required.

Features

  • Internal nitrogen reservoir: maintains consistent damping under sustained hard use
  • 2.5" shock body: increased piston area over stock for improved damping ability
  • Vehicle-specific valving: tuned for F-150 weight and geometry, on-road and off
  • 6061 aluminum CNC components: aircraft-grade, corrosion-resistant CAD-plated body
  • FK rod end bearings: extended longevity and minimal deflection at mounting points
  • 100% bolt-on installation: no drilling, cutting, or welding required

Who This Is For and Isn't

These coilovers suit 2021–2026 Ford F-150 4WD and Tremor owners who want a bolt-on front lift with improved wheel travel and damping performance for mixed on-road and off-road use. Buyers running gas, flex-fuel, PowerBoost hybrid, or Power-Stroke diesel powertrains are all supported, each with a powertrain-specific lift range.

These coilovers do not fit the F-150 Raptor or any F-150 equipped with factory-installed electronically controlled suspension. They are not compatible with all OE wheel and tire combinations; aftermarket wheels with lower offset and less backspace are recommended. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. Non-Tremor F-150 sub-models require the separately sold ICON Front Knuckle Kit (part 94000), and all fitments require separately sold ICON Delta Joint Pro Upper Control Arms.

Common Questions

Do these coilovers fit the F-150 Raptor?

No. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilovers for the 2021–2026 Ford F-150 do not fit the F-150 Raptor. They are designed specifically for 4WD and Tremor variants of the standard F-150 platform.

What additional parts are required for installation?

All fitments require ICON Delta Joint Pro Upper Control Arms, sold separately. Non-Tremor F-150 4WD sub-models also require the ICON Front Knuckle Kit (part 94000), sold separately. The Tremor does not require the knuckle kit.

What lift height will I get with my powertrain?

Lift height varies by engine. Gas and flex-fuel F-150 models achieve 3.5–4.5" over stock. PowerBoost hybrid models achieve 3.25–4.25". Power-Stroke diesel models achieve 3–4". Tremor models achieve 2.5–3". All figures are for a stock-equipped vehicle before installation.

Will these work with my factory electronic suspension?

No. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilovers are not compatible with factory-installed electronically controlled suspension. Buyers should confirm their F-150 does not have this system before ordering.

Do I need to recalibrate my truck's driver assistance systems after installing these?

Yes. Recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is required after installing these coilovers on the 2021–2026 Ford F-150. This step should be completed by a qualified technician.

What wheel and tire sizes are recommended?

These coilovers are not compatible with all factory wheel and tire combinations. ICON recommends aftermarket wheels with lower offset and less backspace: 17x8.5" with 5" backspace, 18x9" with 5.25" backspace, or 20x9" with 5.625" backspace. For tires, 34x12.50" is the recommended size; larger tires may require fender trimming.
