The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilover Kit with Remote Reservoir is a bolt-on front suspension upgrade for 2021–2026 Ford Bronco (excluding Bronco Raptor), delivering up to 11.5 inches of wheel travel and 1.5–4 inches of lift on non-Sasquatch Broncos, 2–3 inches on Sasquatch-equipped Broncos, and 1.5–2.5 inches on the Bronco Everglades. The kit ships as a pair of fully assembled coilovers.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
More Travel, Better Control On and Off Road
The 2.5-inch shock body and increased piston area over stock components allow the front suspension to cycle through more travel than the factory setup can achieve. For Bronco owners who push into technical terrain, that extra travel translates directly into wheels that stay in contact with the ground longer, reducing the jarring transfers that wear out a driver on a long trail day. Vehicle-specific valving means the damping curve is calibrated for the Bronco's weight and geometry rather than a generic tune.
Remote Reservoirs Resist Heat and Fade
Remote reservoirs increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, which helps the damper maintain consistent performance during extended hard use. On repeated high-speed whoops or long descents where a standard shock can overheat and lose damping force, keeping oil temperature lower reduces cavitation so the shock continues to respond predictably rather than fading mid-run.
Adjustable Lift, Fully Rebuildable
Coilover height is adjustable across the full lift range, letting the owner dial in ride height as wheel and tire combinations change over time. The shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, which matters for a component in this price range: when valving or seals eventually need attention, the unit goes back together rather than getting replaced outright.
Features
- 2.5" shock body with remote reservoir: increased oil volume and heat dissipation for fade resistance under hard use
- Up to 11.5" wheel travel: vehicle-specific length and valving maximize front suspension travel
- 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC components: CAD-plated shock bodies with 7/8" diameter shafts
- FK rod end bearings: extended longevity and minimal deflection at the mounting points
- Fully rebuildable and re-tunable: serviceable in the field; coilover heights are adjustable
- 100% bolt-on installation: no drilling, cutting, or welding required

Who This Is For and Isn't
This kit suits 2021–2026 Ford Bronco owners, with or without the Sasquatch package and including the Bronco Everglades, who want a bolt-on front suspension upgrade with adjustable lift, increased wheel travel, and heat-resistant remote reservoir dampers for trail and off-road use.
This kit does not fit the Bronco Raptor. Factory upper control arms will not align properly above 2.5 inches of lift; an aftermarket upper control arm is recommended above that threshold, and ICON upper control arms with Delta Joint Pro (part numbers 48400DJ or 48500DJ) are specifically recommended given the increased travel and lift these coilovers provide. Other aftermarket front upper control arms may not be compatible, and the installer must verify fitment and check for ball joint bind before use. Fitment testing was conducted with ICON and OE steering components; certain aftermarket steering components may not clear the front coilovers. Running 37-inch tires requires up-travel limiters (part 611075) in the front; crash bar removal may also be required with 37-inch tires, though it is not recommended. ADAS recalibration is required after installation.
Common Questions
Will these coilovers fit a Bronco Raptor?
No. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilover Kit (SKU 48700) does not fit the Bronco Raptor. It is designed specifically for standard 2021–2026 Ford Bronco models, with and without the Sasquatch package, and for the Bronco Everglades.
Do I need new upper control arms with this kit?
Factory upper control arms will not align correctly above 2.5 inches of lift. For lifts above that height, an aftermarket upper control arm is required. ICON upper control arms with Delta Joint Pro (part numbers 48400DJ or 48500DJ) are specifically recommended for use with these coilovers; the installer must confirm compatibility and check for ball joint bind before driving.
What lift height is achievable on a Sasquatch-equipped Bronco versus a non-Sasquatch model?
On a non-Sasquatch Bronco, these coilovers provide 1.5–4 inches of adjustable front lift. On a Sasquatch-equipped Bronco, the range is 2–3 inches over stock. The Bronco Everglades has a lift range of 1.5–2.5 inches over stock with this kit.
Can I run 35-inch or 37-inch tires with this kit?
35x12.50-inch tires are the recommended aftermarket tire size for both Sasquatch and non-Sasquatch Broncos with this kit. Running 37-inch tires requires coilover bump stop spacers and up-travel limiters (part 611075) in the front, plus trimming and modifications; crash bar removal may be required with 37-inch tires, though it is not recommended. Non-Sasquatch vehicles running 35-inch tires should also use the high-clearance crash bar (part 42000).
Does installation require any cutting or welding?
No cutting, drilling, or welding is required. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilover Kit is a 100% bolt-on installation. ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) recalibration is required after installation regardless of lift height.
Are these shocks rebuildable?
Yes. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series coilovers are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The shocks are also fully serviceable, meaning valving and seals can be addressed without replacing the entire unit.
