The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilover Kit is a bolt-on front suspension upgrade for 2019–2026 Ram 1500 trucks (excluding Classic, TRX, RHO, and EcoDiesel) that delivers 2–3 inches of lift height adjustability, a 2.5-inch shock body, a remote reservoir, and ICON's CDC Valve for 10-position external compression damping adjustment. Ram 1500 Rebel owners see a lift range of 1.25–2.25 inches over stock with this kit.

Larger Shock Body, More Wheel Travel
The 2.5-inch shock body and increased piston area over stock components give this coilover greater damping capacity across a wider range of terrain. Application-specific shock length is engineered to maximize front wheel travel, which translates to better chassis control on washboard, rock, and uneven trail surfaces where a stock shock runs out of range quickly. The 7/8-inch diameter shaft and high-strength alloy CNC-machined lower mounting clevis are built to handle the lateral and compressive loads that come with aggressive off-road use.
Remote Reservoir and CDCV Tuning
The remote reservoir keeps shock fluid separated from the main body, reducing heat buildup during extended or repeated off-road cycles. Lower operating temperatures produce more consistent damping response on long runs, so the shock behaves at mile 50 the way it did at mile one. The included CDC Valve adds 10 externally accessible compression damping settings, from soft to firm, so ride character can be dialed without removing the shock or disassembling anything.
Vehicle-Specific Valving and Bolt-On Installation
ICON developed the valving specifically for the lighter weight and chassis dynamics of the 2019–2026 Ram 1500 platform, rather than adapting a universal tune. FK rod end bearings reduce deflection and extend service life compared to rubber bushings. Installation requires no drilling, cutting, or welding. These shocks are fully serviceable. After installation, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This kit suits 2019–2026 Ram 1500 owners running aftermarket upper control arms who want 2–3 inches of front lift, improved off-road damping, and the ability to tune compression externally. It is compatible with the Ram 1500 Rebel (1.25–2.25" lift range) and pairs with ICON 2.0 or 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks for balanced front-to-rear performance.
This kit does not fit 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic models, the Ram 1500 TRX, the Ram 1500 RHO, EcoDiesel-equipped Ram 1500 trucks, or vehicles with factory rear air ride. It requires aftermarket upper control arms and is not compatible with OEM upper control arms. ADAS recalibration is required after installation and is not included.
Common Questions
Does this kit work with the factory upper control arms?
The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Front Coilover Kit for 2019–2026 Ram 1500 requires aftermarket upper control arms. It is not compatible with OEM upper control arms.
Will it fit my Ram 1500 Classic, TRX, or RHO?
This coilover kit does not fit 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic models, the Ram 1500 TRX, or the Ram 1500 RHO. It is also not compatible with EcoDiesel-equipped trucks or vehicles with factory rear air ride suspension.
How much lift does the Rebel get with this kit?
On the Ram 1500 Rebel, this ICON coilover kit delivers a lift height range of 1.25–2.25 inches over stock, compared to the 2–3 inch range available on other 2019–2026 Ram 1500 configurations.
What does the CDC Valve do and how is it adjusted?
The CDC Valve (CDCV) included with this kit provides 10 settings of external compression damping adjustment, ranging from soft to firm. Adjustments are made from outside the shock without disassembly, allowing ride character to be changed to suit road conditions or load.
Do I need to recalibrate my truck's driver assistance systems after installing this kit?
Yes. Installing this ICON coilover kit on a 2019–2026 Ram 1500 requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after installation. This recalibration is not included with the kit and should be performed by a qualified technician.
