The ICON Vehicle Dynamics V.S. 2.5 Series Coilover Conversion Kit replaces the factory coil spring arrangement on 2008–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD diesel trucks with a bolt-in coilover system that delivers 4–6.5 inches of front lift, remote-reservoir damping, and external compression adjustment. Lift heights are based on the 4WD Crew Cab diesel configuration. Installation requires ICON fabricated shock hoops (part numbers 61950L and 61950R, sold separately).

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Tunable Damping From Street to Desert

ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) provides 10 settings of external compression adjustment without tools, letting a driver shift between a compliant highway tune and a firmer off-road setup without removing the shock. Vehicle-specific internal valving is calibrated for the F-250/F-350 diesel's weight and axle loads, so the baseline tune is already dialed in before the CDCV is touched. Remote reservoirs increase oil capacity and shed heat during sustained off-road use, keeping damping consistent when repeated compression cycles would otherwise cause fade in a standard shock.

Built to Last and Upgrade

Coilover shock bodies are CAD plated for corrosion resistance and use 7/8-inch shafts for shaft strength. FK rod end bearings minimize deflection and resist wear in demanding environments. The dual-rate coil springs are engineered specifically for diesel engine weight and carry a lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage. Both shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, so the investment survives multiple builds. The system is also designed to accept a secondary shock at each corner, providing a clear upgrade path for high-output Super Duty builds without replacing the coilover unit.

Features

  • Bolt-in fitment: designed for use with ICON fabricated shock hoops (61950L and 61950R, required, sold separately)
  • 4–6.5" front lift: ride-height-adjustable coilovers; lift range based on 4WD Crew Cab diesel
  • CDCV with 10 settings: external compression damping adjustment for street, crawl, or high-speed off-road use
  • Remote reservoir: increases oil capacity and dissipates heat for consistent damping during extended off-road use
  • CAD-plated bodies with 7/8" shafts: corrosion-resistant construction; fully rebuildable and revalveable
  • Secondary shock ready: coilover design allows addition of a secondary shock at each corner

Who This Is For and Isn't

This kit suits 2008–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD diesel owners who want a tunable, remote-reservoir coilover system with 4–6.5 inches of front lift and a clear path to adding a secondary shock. It is compatible with factory wheels and tires, and the CDCV makes it practical for trucks that see both highway miles and sustained off-road use.

This kit does not fit 2WD models, gasoline-engine F-250/F-350 trucks, or any Super Duty outside the 2008–2016 model years. It cannot be installed without ICON fabricated shock hoops (61950L and 61950R), which are sold separately. Lift heights stated are specific to the 4WD Crew Cab diesel; other cab and bed configurations may differ.

Common Questions

Do I need any additional parts to install this coilover conversion?

Yes. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Coilover Conversion Kit requires ICON fabricated shock hoops, part numbers 61950L (driver side) and 61950R (passenger side), which are sold separately. The kit is designed specifically for use with those hoops and cannot be installed without them.

Will this kit fit my gasoline-powered F-250 or F-350?

No. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Coilover Conversion Kit (61750C) is engineered and spring-rated specifically for diesel-engine F-250 and F-350 trucks. The springs are calibrated for diesel engine weight, so the kit is not appropriate for gasoline-powered Super Duty applications.

How much front lift does this kit provide?

The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Coilover Conversion Kit provides 4 to 6.5 inches of adjustable front lift. That range is based on the 4WD Crew Cab diesel configuration; actual lift on other cab or bed configurations may vary.

What does the CDCV do, and how many adjustment settings does it offer?

The Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) regulates fluid flow under compression, allowing external adjustment of the shock's compression damping. This coilover conversion includes CDCV with 10 settings, so the suspension can be tuned for street driving, slow rock crawling, or high-speed off-road use without removing the shock from the vehicle.

Can I add a secondary shock to this system later?

Yes. The ICON V.S. 2.5 Series Coilover Conversion Kit is designed to accept a secondary shock at each corner, providing an upgrade path for higher-output Super Duty builds. Secondary shock options are available; contact ICON Vehicle Dynamics directly for compatible part numbers and details.
