The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Ultimate Front End Kit Stage 2 is a three-component front-end rebuild system for 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, combining a high-clearance steering stabilizer, a full set of Dynatrac HD BallJoints, and a caster alignment cam kit to address loose steering, erratic tracking, uneven tire wear, and death-wobble at the source. The kit fits JK models running OE or Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axles with a 1.375-inch diameter tie rod and a minimum 1-inch bump stop spacer already installed.

High-Clearance Steering Stabilizer
The ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series steering stabilizer replaces the factory unit with a rebuildable shock tuned specifically for the JK. The bracket relocates the stabilizer up and away from rocks, brush, and trail obstacles that routinely damage low-mounted OE hardware. A corrosion-resistant aluminum body and 5/8-inch shaft deliver increased damping over stock, reducing feedback and nervous steering feel both on pavement and off. The bolt-on design requires no cutting or welding.
Dynatrac HD BallJoints, Built for Large Tires and Hard Use
Stage 2 includes a complete front upper and lower set of Dynatrac HD BallJoints with heat-treated, high-strength billet bodies and chromoly stems. The precision-ground stainless-steel ball runs on PTFE-coated wear points, and greaseable fittings allow maintenance without removal. A snap-ring safety feature locks the ball joint body in the axle housing, preventing movement under the load of large off-road tires on extreme terrain. The joints are on-vehicle rebuildable, and a Dynatrac installation kit is included.
Caster Alignment Cams for Lifted JKs
The ICON JK Alignment Cam Kit rounds out Stage 2 with ±1.5 degrees of caster adjustability beyond the factory range. Cam bolts are made of heavy-duty alloy steel. The kit is designed to bring a lifted JK back into proper caster specification when running ICON 3-inch or 4.5-inch suspension systems, keeping steering and suspension geometry working in coordination rather than fighting each other.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This kit suits 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK owners running a 3-inch or 4.5-inch lift who are experiencing loose steering, death-wobble, or worn ball joints, and who want a bolt-on front-end rebuild that addresses the stabilizer, ball joints, and caster alignment in one purchase.
This kit does not fit Jeep Wrangler JL, JLU, or Gladiator JT models, nor any JK equipped with a tie rod smaller than 1.375 inches in diameter or a front axle other than the OE unit or Dynatrac ProRock 44. The required 1-inch minimum bump stop spacer is not included in this kit.
Common Questions
Does this kit require a bump stop spacer, and is one included?
The ICON Ultimate Front End Kit Stage 2 requires a minimum 1-inch tall bump stop spacer for the steering stabilizer to fit correctly. A bump stop spacer is not included in this kit. ICON part number 22044 is the recommended spacer and is sold separately.
Which front axles are compatible with this kit?
The ICON Ultimate Front End Kit Stage 2 fits 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models equipped with either the OE factory front axle or the Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axle. It is not confirmed to fit other aftermarket axle housings.
Will the steering stabilizer fit my JK if I'm running a different brand's lift?
The ICON high-clearance steering stabilizer included in this kit is designed to complement ICON suspension systems but will also fit other aftermarket suspension lifts on the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, provided the tie rod is 1.375 inches in diameter and a 1-inch or taller bump stop spacer is already in place.
Are the ball joints serviceable after installation?
The Dynatrac HD BallJoints included in this kit are on-vehicle rebuildable and feature greaseable fittings with PTFE-coated wear points. A Dynatrac installation kit is included to assist with the initial install. Unique seals protect against contamination during normal use.
Does this kit address death-wobble?
The ICON Ultimate Front End Kit Stage 2 replaces worn front-end components, including the steering stabilizer and ball joints, that are common contributors to death-wobble, loose steering, and erratic tracking on the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. Whether it resolves a specific vehicle's death-wobble depends on the underlying cause in that vehicle.
