The ICON Stage 9 Tubular Suspension System is a complete front and rear upgrade for 2025–2026 Toyota 4Runner 2WD models, delivering 1.25–3" of front lift height and 0.75" of rear lift height through a matched set of 2.5 Series components engineered to increase wheel travel and damping performance on- and off-road. This system is designed for gasoline-engine 4Runner models only and is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Front Coilovers Built for Adjustable, High-Capacity Damping

The front of the Stage 9 system uses vehicle-specific 2.5 Series coilovers with CDXS valving and remote reservoirs. CDXS (ICON's Compression Damping Dual Speed technology) provides independent adjustability of high-speed and low-speed compression force through 10 detented settings on each knob, letting the driver separately tune handling response and overall suspension aggressiveness. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting the overheating and cavitation that cause damper fade under sustained hard use. Coilover lengths are specifically designed for 2WD models to maximize available front wheel travel.

Tubular UCAs and Delta Joint PRO Correct Front Geometry

The included tubular upper control arm kit corrects front-end geometry, adds caster, and improves suspension component clearance over the OE arms. The ICON Delta Joint PRO replaces the factory ball joint with a serviceable, rebuildable unit offering 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. The UCAs are built from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components and carry U.S. Patent 10,731,700.

Rear System Balances Comfort, Lift, and Articulation

At the rear, dual-rate coil springs deliver a softer ride-height spring rate with a firmer overload rate, combining on-road comfort with bottoming resistance and off-road capability while providing 0.75" of rear lift for a level front-to-rear stance. Tubular rear lower links use dual-durometer greaseless bushings at one end and FK rod ends at the other for free articulation with effective isolation of road noise and vibration. The billet adjustable rear track bar re-centers the rear axle after lift; double adjuster rod end threads allow fine length adjustment on the vehicle without removing or disassembling the track bar. Rear 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir CDXS shocks with integrated bump zones and 7/8" shafts are valved to balance performance front to rear.

Features

  • CDXS Dual-Speed Compression Adjustment: 10 detented settings each for independent high- and low-speed compression tuning on all shocks
  • 1.25–3" Front / 0.75" Rear Lift: height-adjustable coilovers front, dual-rate springs rear, for a level lifted stance
  • Delta Joint PRO UCAs: serviceable, rebuildable upper control arms with 90° articulation and corrected caster (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700)
  • Remote Reservoir Shocks Front and Rear: increased oil volume and heat dissipation to resist damper fade under hard use
  • Billet Adjustable Rear Track Bar: re-centers rear axle on-vehicle without disassembly
  • Corrosion-Resistant Construction: CAD-plated coilover shock bodies, 6061 aluminum CNC components, FK rod end bearings

Who This Is For and Isn't

The Stage 9 Tubular system suits 2025–2026 Toyota 4Runner owners on the 2WD platform who want a comprehensive, tunable suspension upgrade with increased wheel travel, a 1.25–3" front lift, corrected front geometry, and balanced rear performance for mixed on-road and off-road driving.

This system does not fit 4WD 4Runner models; installation on a 4WD vehicle will damage the front axles. It is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. Advertised lift heights apply to stock-weight, gasoline-engine vehicles; added accessories will reduce the achieved lift range.

Common Questions

Will this system fit my 4WD 4Runner?

The ICON Stage 9 Tubular system is designed exclusively for 2025–2026 Toyota 4Runner 2WD models. Installation on a 4WD model will result in damage to the front axles and is not supported.

Is this system compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension?

The Stage 9 Tubular system is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped 4Runner models. Confirm your vehicle does not have AVS before ordering.

What lift height will I actually get?

The Stage 9 system provides 1.25–3" of front lift height and 0.75" of rear lift height over stock. These figures are based on a gasoline-engine 4Runner at stock weight; adding accessories or cargo weight will reduce the achieved lift within that range.

Do I need to recalibrate any vehicle systems after installation?

Yes. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after the Stage 9 Tubular system is installed on a 2025–2026 4Runner. This step should be performed by a qualified technician.

Are the shocks serviceable?

All shocks in the Stage 9 Tubular system are fully serviceable. The Delta Joint PRO upper control arm ball joint is also serviceable and rebuildable, extending the long-term serviceability of the front suspension.
