The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 9 is a complete suspension system for the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia, delivering 3-4.5" of front lift and 4" of rear lift on non-TRD models (1-2.5" front and 2" rear on TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro trims) through a matched set of 2.5 Series remote reservoir CDXS coilovers, billet upper control arms with Delta Joint PRO, a sway bar drop kit, 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir CDXS shocks, and TRD dual-rate rear coil springs, all tuned specifically for the 2023-2026 Sequoia platform.

Independent Compression Damping, Front and Rear
Every shock absorber in the Stage 9 system carries ICON's Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) valving, which separates high-speed and low-speed compression control into two independent adjustment knobs, each with 10 detented settings. That separation matters on a full-size SUV: low-speed damping governs body roll and highway composure, while high-speed damping controls how the suspension reacts to sharp impacts and rough terrain. Tuning each knob independently means the same Sequoia can be softened for daily driving and firmed for a desert run, with no need to accept a single compromise setting that does neither well.
More Travel, Better Geometry
The 2.5 Series front coilovers use a larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area to deliver up to 40% more wheel travel than stock. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting the cavitation and damper fade that occur when shocks overheat under sustained hard use. The billet aluminum upper control arms correct front-end geometry, expand on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment range, and replace the OE ball joint with the rebuildable ICON Delta Joint PRO, which provides 90 degrees of total articulation and eliminates bind through full bump and droop travel. Included sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in the OE sway bar links across the full suspension travel range.
Rear Lift Matched to Trim Level
The TRD dual-rate rear coil springs use a softer primary rate for ride comfort and a firmer overload rate for bottoming resistance. On a non-TRD Sequoia they deliver 4" of rear lift; on a Sequoia with the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro they deliver 2" of rear lift, producing a level stance front to rear in both cases. The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks add a Bump Zone that generates an additional 20% of damping force at the end of travel to control hard bottom-outs, and their CDXS valving matches the front coilovers for balanced damping across the axles.

- 2.5 Series front coilovers with remote reservoirs: up to 40% more travel over stock; 3-4.5" front lift adjustability (non-TRD) or 1-2.5" (TRD Off-Road / TRD Pro)
- Billet aluminum UCAs with Delta Joint PRO: corrected geometry, expanded caster/camber range, rebuildable ball joint with 90° articulation (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700)
- Sway bar drop kit: reduces OE sway bar link bind through full suspension travel
- TRD dual-rate rear coil springs: 4" rear lift on non-TRD models, 2" on TRD Off-Road / TRD Pro
- 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks with remote reservoirs and Bump Zone: matched CDXS tune, 20% additional damping force at end of travel

Who This Is For and Isn't
The Stage 9 system suits 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia owners on any trim, including TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro, who want a significant lift, maximum wheel travel, and the ability to tune compression damping independently for street driving and off-road use. It accommodates up to 35" tires and is designed for 4WD models.
This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). It does not fit any other vehicle. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. On 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package, a differential drop kit (ICON part #55156) or Toyota TRD axles are required to avoid front axle damage; neither is included in this kit. Sequoias with the TRD aluminum skid plate also require part #55164, sold separately. Lift heights are based on a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessory weight will alter the achieved lift range.
Common Questions
Will this system fit a Sequoia with the TRD Pro package?
The Stage 9 system is compatible with TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road Sequoias, but the lift heights differ from non-TRD models. On a TRD Off-Road or TRD Pro Sequoia, the front lift range is 1-2.5" over stock and the rear lift is 2" over stock, producing a level stance. Non-TRD models achieve 3-4.5" of front lift and 4" of rear lift.
What does CDXS mean and why does it matter?
CDXS stands for Compression Damping Dual Speed. Every shock in the Stage 9 system has two independent adjustment knobs, one for high-speed compression and one for low-speed compression, each with 10 detented settings. This lets the driver tune body-roll control and highway composure separately from how the suspension handles sharp impacts and rough terrain, rather than accepting a single compromise setting.
Is this system compatible with Sequoias that have air suspension or AVS?
The Stage 9 system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Buyers with either of those factory systems should not order this kit.
What additional parts or steps are required after installation?
ADAS recalibration is required after installing the Stage 9 system on any Sequoia. On 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package, a differential drop kit (ICON part #55156) or Toyota TRD axles are also required to prevent front axle damage; neither is included in this kit. Sequoias with the factory TRD aluminum skid plate additionally require part #55164, sold separately.
What tire and wheel sizes does ICON recommend with this system?
ICON recommends up to 35" x 12.50" tires with this Stage 9 system, noting that minor fender trimming or modifications may be required. For wheels, ICON recommends ICON Alloys in 17x8.5" with 5.75" backspace and 25mm offset, or 18x9" with 6" backspace and 25mm offset.
