The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 9 is a complete front-and-rear suspension system for the 2023-2026 Toyota Sequoia, delivering 3–4.5" of front lift over stock (1–2.5" on TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro submodels) through V.S. 2.5 Series remote reservoir coilovers and rear shocks, all equipped with ICON's Compression Damping Dual Speed (CDXS) valving. The system includes tubular upper control arms with Delta Joint PRO, a sway bar drop kit, and dual-rate rear coil springs, and accommodates up to 35" tires with minor fender trimming.
Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.
CDXS Valving: Independent High- and Low-Speed Compression Adjustment
Every shock absorber in the Stage 9 system carries ICON's CDXS valving, which controls fluid flow under compression with separate adjustment of high-speed and low-speed compression force. Each knob offers 10 detented settings for softening street comfort, stiffening for high-speed desert running, or tuning for slow technical terrain. No hardware changes are required to move between those settings. That range of adjustment in a single installed system means the Sequoia does not need separate shock setups for different use cases.
Remote Reservoirs and the 2.5" Shock Body
The V.S. 2.5 Series front coilovers use a 2.5" shock body with increased piston area, which ICON states yields up to 40% more wheel travel than stock. Remote reservoirs increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting the cavitation and damper fade that occur when shocks overheat under sustained hard use.
The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks share the same reservoir benefit and add an internal Bump Zone that generates an additional 20% of damping force at the end of the stroke to resist hard bottom-outs. All shock absorbers in the system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable.
Tubular UCAs, Delta Joint PRO, and Geometry Correction
The included tubular steel upper control arm kit corrects front-end geometry, adds caster, and improves suspension component clearance over the OE arms. The ICON Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) replaces the OE ball joint and provides 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. The Delta Joint PRO is serviceable and rebuildable. Sway bar drop brackets are also included to reduce bind in the OE sway bar links through the full range of wheel travel.
Dual-Rate Rear Coil Springs and Rear Lift
The dual-rate rear coil springs use a softer primary rate for ride comfort and a firmer overload rate for bottoming resistance. On a non-TRD Sequoia they provide 2" of rear lift over stock; on a Sequoia equipped with the TRD Off-Road package they return 0" of rear lift, producing a level stance front to rear. Owners wanting taller rear ride heights on TRD-equipped vehicles should consider kit K53239TS instead.

Who This Is For and Isn't
The Stage 9 system suits 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia owners on 4WD models who want adjustable CDXS damping, a tubular UCA upgrade, and the ability to run up to 35" tires. It works with OEM wheels and tires and with the recommended ICON Alloys aftermarket sizes. Lift heights stated assume a stock-equipped vehicle; adding accessories that increase vehicle weight will alter the lift range.
This system is not compatible with Sequoias equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). It is not compatible with TRD aluminum skid plates unless ICON part 55164 is also installed. On 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro, ICON recommends installing ICON Diff Drop (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. Owners wanting taller rear ride heights on TRD-equipped Sequoias should consider kit K53239TS rather than this system.
Common Questions
What lift height does this system provide?
The ICON Stage 9 system provides 3–4.5" of front lift over stock on most 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia submodels, and 2" of rear lift on non-TRD models. Sequoias with the TRD Off-Road package receive 1–2.5" of front lift and 0" of rear lift. All lift heights are measured from a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessories that increase vehicle weight will alter the actual lift range.
Is this system compatible with my Sequoia's factory air suspension or AVS?
The ICON Stage 9 system for the 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia is not compatible with vehicles equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension or Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Buyers with either of those factory options should not install this kit.
What does CDXS mean and how is it adjusted?
CDXS stands for Compression Damping Dual Speed. On the Stage 9 system's coilovers and rear shocks, it provides independent adjustment of high-speed and low-speed compression force through two separate knobs, each with 10 detented settings. Turning the knobs requires no tools beyond hand pressure and can be done without removing the shocks from the vehicle.
What is the Delta Joint PRO and why does it replace the OE ball joint?
The ICON Delta Joint PRO is a patented (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) replacement for the OE upper ball joint, included in the Stage 9 tubular UCA kit for the 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia. It provides 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind, and is serviceable and rebuildable rather than a sealed, replace-only unit.
Does this system require any additional parts for 4WD models?
On 2023–2026 Toyota Sequoia 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package or TRD Pro, ICON recommends adding the ICON Diff Drop kit (part 55156) or Toyota TRD axles to prevent potential front axle damage. TRD Pro models do not require the diff drop. Sequoias with a TRD aluminum skid plate also require ICON part 55164. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems must be recalibrated after installation.
