The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 8 Suspension System is a complete front-and-rear upgrade for 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma 4WD trucks, delivering 1.25–3" of adjustable front lift and 0.5" of rear lift through a matched set of 2.5 Series CDCV remote reservoir coilovers, billet aluminum upper control arms with Delta Joint PRO, a front differential drop kit, billet rear lower links, 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV remote reservoir rear shocks, and triple-rate rear coil springs. This kit is configured for 4WD Tacoma models; see application notes below for 2WD fitment details.

Adjustable Damping Across Ten Settings
Every shock absorber in the Stage 8 system is equipped with an ICON CDC Valve, an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the remote reservoir to produce 10 distinct compression damping force ranges, from soft to firm. That range lets a driver dial in a compliant daily-driving tune on Monday and a stiffer, more controlled off-road setup on the weekend without removing a shock or opening the hood. Remote reservoirs also increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area, resisting the overheating and cavitation that cause damper fade under sustained hard use.
Corrected Front Geometry with the Delta Joint PRO
The billet aluminum upper control arms replace the OE units with components that restore correct front-end geometry after the lift, and add on-vehicle camber and caster adjustability so alignment can be dialed in without fixed shims. At the ball joint, the serviceable and rebuildable ICON Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) provides 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. The included front differential drop kit (part 55160) optimizes CV joint operating angles and maximizes available front wheel travel on 4WD models; polyurethane differential mounting bushings replace the soft OE bushings to limit differential movement under load.
Triple-Rate Rear Springs and Adjustable Rear Links
The triple-rate rear coil springs use softer droop and ride rates combined with a firmer overload rate, delivering on-road comfort and bottoming resistance in a single spring without a separate add-a-leaf. The billet rear lower links add on-vehicle pinion angle adjustability through the ICON double adjuster, and use dual-durometer greaseless bushings at one end and FK rod end bearings at the other, a pairing that allows free articulation while isolating road noise and vibration from the cab. The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks carry vehicle-specific valving tuned to balance front-to-rear damping performance with the coilovers.
Features
- 2.5 Series CDCV remote reservoir front coilovers: height-adjustable for 1.25–3" of front lift over stock, with 7/8" shafts and corrosion-resistant CAD-plated bodies
- 10-setting CDC Valve damping: externally adjustable compression damping on all shocks, front and rear
- Billet aluminum UCAs with Delta Joint PRO: on-vehicle camber/caster adjustment and 90° articulation; serviceable and rebuildable
- Triple-rate rear coil springs: 0.5" rear lift with progressive rate for ride comfort and bottoming resistance
- Billet rear lower links: on-vehicle pinion angle adjustment via ICON double adjuster; FK rod ends and dual-durometer greaseless bushings
- 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components: throughout the billet hardware in this system

Who This Is For and Isn't
The Stage 8 system suits 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma 4WD owners who want a fully integrated suspension upgrade with adjustable lift, tunable damping, corrected front geometry, and improved rear articulation for mixed on-road and off-road use. On 2WD Tacoma models, the front differential drop kit (part 55160) included in this kit is not needed; the remaining components can be purchased individually for full system functionality, and 2WD-specific kits are forthcoming from ICON.
This system does not fit Tacoma submodels equipped with rear leaf springs. It is not compatible with Tacoma trucks equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Installation requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after fitment. Lift heights stated are for a stock-equipped vehicle; adding accessories that increase vehicle weight will alter the achieved lift range. An adjustable track bar is recommended to realign the rear axle after installation, though not required; it is not included in this kit.
Common Questions
Does this system fit both 4WD and 2WD 2024–2026 Tacoma trucks?
The Stage 8 kit is configured for 4WD Tacoma models and includes the front differential drop kit (part 55160) required for 4WD fitment. On a 2WD Tacoma, that differential drop kit is not needed, and the remaining Stage 8 components can be purchased individually for full functionality. ICON Vehicle Dynamics has indicated that 2WD-specific complete kits are coming soon.
Will this system work on a Tacoma with Adaptive Variable Suspension?
No. The ICON Stage 8 Suspension System is not compatible with 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma trucks equipped with the factory Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system. Confirm your Tacoma's suspension configuration before ordering.
Does installation require any recalibration of factory driver-assistance systems?
Yes. Installing the Stage 8 system on a 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma requires recalibration of the vehicle's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after the suspension work is complete. This recalibration is not performed by the components in the kit and should be factored into the installation plan.
What rear lift height does this system provide, and what affects the actual result?
The triple-rate rear coil springs in the Stage 8 system are designed to provide 0.5" of rear lift on a stock-equipped 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma. Adding accessories that increase vehicle weight will reduce the achieved lift height from the stated figure.
Is an adjustable track bar required with this system?
An adjustable track bar is recommended after installing the Stage 8 system to realign the rear axle, but it is not required and is not included in this kit. ICON offers a compatible billet adjustable track bar for the 2024–2026 Tacoma as a separate purchase.
