The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Tubular suspension system is a complete bolt-on upgrade for 2019–2026 Ram 1500 trucks (2WD and 4WD) that delivers 0–1.5 inches of adjustable front lift through vehicle-specific-tuned 2.5-inch internal-reservoir coilovers, tubular steel upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint, 1.5-inch dual-rate rear coil springs, and 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV piggyback rear shocks. Several application-specific fitment limits apply; see the Who This Is For and Isn't section below.

Engineered for the 2019-and-Newer Ram Platform
The 2019 Ram 1500 introduced an all-new frame, increased chassis rigidity, and reduced overall weight compared to its predecessor. ICON developed new rear shock tuning and revised front coilover valving specifically for this platform rather than adapting hardware from earlier generations. That platform-specific development means the coilover rates, spring curves, and damping maps in this Stage 5 system reflect the actual chassis dynamics of the 2019-and-newer truck, not a generic tune carried over from a prior application.
Adjustable Lift and Increased Wheel Travel
The 2.5-inch front coilovers are height-adjustable across the full 0–1.5-inch lift range, giving owners the ability to dial in ride height without swapping springs or purchasing additional hardware. An internal reservoir on the front coilovers provides thermal capacity during sustained off-road use, and CAD-plated shock bodies with 7/8-inch shafts resist corrosion over the life of the system. At the rear, 1.5-inch dual-rate coil springs work alongside the 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback shocks to balance front-to-rear ride character under varying load conditions.
Delta Joint Upper Control Arms
ICON's tubular steel upper control arms use the patented Delta Joint (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) in place of a conventional uniball or standard ball joint. The Delta Joint combines the high-angularity articulation of a uniball with a zinc-plated housing, a grease seal, and a greaseable metal-on-metal design that resists corrosion and contamination in daily-driven conditions. The result is improved suspension geometry for more predictable handling without the weather-exposure vulnerability of an open uniball. FK rod end bearings at the rear shocks provide extended longevity and minimal deflection under load.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This Stage 5 Tubular system suits 2019–2026 Ram 1500 owners (2WD or 4WD) who want a bolt-on lift and performance suspension upgrade for mixed on-road and off-road use. The adjustable front coilovers and dual-rate rear springs make it appropriate for trucks used as daily drivers as well as those that see regular trail or dirt-road use. On 2019–2026 Ram 1500 Rebel models, the front lift range is 0–0.75 inches over stock and the system provides 1 inch of rear lift.
This system does not fit 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic models, Ram 1500 TRX, or Ram 1500 RHO. It is not compatible with factory air ride equipped vehicles. Springs in this system are not rated for EcoDiesel-equipped trucks. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation.
Common Questions
Does this system require any cutting, drilling, or welding during installation?
The ICON Stage 5 Tubular system for the 2019–2026 Ram 1500 is a 100% bolt-on system. No drilling, cutting, or welding is required for installation. ICON provides an installation guide with the system.
Will this system work with my factory wheels and tires?
Yes. The ICON Stage 5 Tubular system is confirmed compatible with OEM Ram 1500 wheels and tires across the stated lift range. For aftermarket fitment, ICON recommends 18x9-inch or 20x9-inch wheels with 5.00-inch backspace and 0mm offset. Tires up to 33x11.50 inches are recommended; larger tires may require fender trimming.
Can I adjust the ride height after installation?
Yes. The front 2.5-inch coilovers in this Stage 5 system are height-adjustable from 0 to 1.5 inches of lift over stock, allowing ride height changes without purchasing additional components. Lift heights stated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.
How does the CDC Valve work on the rear shocks?
The rear 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback shocks include ICON's Compression Damping Control (CDC) Valve, which allows the owner to adjust compression damping to suit different terrain types and cargo configurations. Adjustment is made by the end user without removing the shock from the vehicle.
Are the shocks rebuildable if they wear or are damaged?
Both the front coilovers and the rear 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback shocks in this Stage 5 Tubular system are fully rebuildable and revalvable, which means they can be serviced and retuned rather than replaced outright if they wear or require a valving change.
