The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Suspension System delivers a 2.5-inch lift for the 2023 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD Diesel, combining CDC Valve 2.5 Aluminum Series front remote reservoir shocks, 2.5 Aluminum Series rear piggyback reservoir shocks, diesel-rated dual rate coil springs, an adjustable track bar, and a dual steering stabilizer kit into a single tuned package. Lift height figures are based on a 4WD Crew Cab Diesel configuration.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Tuned as a Complete System

The Stage 5 kit brings together springs, shocks, track bar, and stabilizers developed and validated together rather than sourced separately. That means the spring rates, shock valving, and alignment cams are calibrated to work as a unit, so the truck's behavior on pavement, at a job site, and on rough terrain reflects a deliberate tune rather than a mix of independently chosen parts.

CDC Valve Adjustability Front and Rear

The front 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir shocks and rear 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback reservoir shocks both carry ICON's CDC Valve, which allows compression damping to be adjusted by hand without tools. A driver who runs the truck loaded and towing one week and unloaded on a trail the next can dial the compression to match the load and terrain without sending the shocks out for revalving. The shocks are also fully rebuildable and revalvable for long-term serviceability.

Diesel-Specific Spring Rates and Extended Travel

The dual rate coil springs included in this kit are rated specifically for diesel engines, which carry more weight over the front axle than gasoline-powered Super Dutys. Using a spring calibrated for that load keeps the truck at the intended ride height and prevents the progressive rate from working in the wrong part of its range. Front wheel travel increases approximately 25 percent over stock, giving the suspension more room to absorb impacts before the bump stops engage. The coil springs carry a lifetime guarantee against breakage or sag, and ICON fabricated components carry a lifetime guarantee against breakage or defect.

Features

  • CDC Valve compression adjustability: front remote reservoir and rear piggyback shocks both allow quick end-user compression tuning without tools
  • Diesel-rated dual rate coil springs: spring rates optimized for the heavier front-axle load of diesel-equipped Super Dutys, with lifetime breakage and sag guarantee
  • Approximately 25% increased front wheel travel: over stock, per ICON specification
  • Adjustable track bar: designed specifically for the Super Duty platform to correct geometry at the lifted ride height
  • Dual steering stabilizer kit: two ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series stabilizers in a dual-opposing configuration for smooth wheel control
  • Hard anodized, one-piece impact-extruded aluminum shock bodies: 7/8-inch shafts with FK Rod End bearings for extended longevity and minimal deflection

Who This Is For and Isn't

This kit is for owners of a 2023 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty in 4WD configuration with a diesel engine who want a 2.5-inch lift with tuned performance shocks, adjustable compression damping, and corrected track bar geometry as a complete system. Primary uses include towing, job-site work, and off-road driving.

This kit does not fit 2024 or earlier model year Super Dutys, gasoline-engine Super Dutys (springs are rated for diesel only), F-350 or F-450 Cab and Chassis models, or 2WD configurations. Trucks equipped with the Tremor package will see a front lift height of approximately 1.5 inches over stock rather than the stated 2.5 inches. A brake line extension kit (part 61111) and track bar bump steer bracket (part 64039) are available separately but are not included. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. In rare cases, a 2.6-degree alignment cam on one side may be required for proper caster split. Common Questions

Does this kit fit a 2024 Ford Super Duty?

No. The ICON Stage 5 Suspension System with SKU K62565 fits only the 2023 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD Diesel. Application notes for this kit explicitly state it will not fit 2024 models.

Will this kit work with a gasoline-engine Super Duty?

No. The dual rate coil springs in this Stage 5 kit are rated specifically for diesel engines. A gasoline-engine Super Duty requires a different spring kit calibrated for its front-axle load; this kit should not be used on a gas-powered truck.

What compression adjustment does the CDC Valve provide?

The CDC Valve on both the front remote reservoir and rear piggyback shocks allows end-user compression damping adjustment quickly and without tools. This lets the driver tune the shocks for different loads or terrain without sending the shocks out for revalving. The shocks are also fully rebuildable and revalvable for long-term service.

Is a brake line extension required to complete the install?

A brake line extension kit (ICON part 61111) is not included in the Stage 5 kit. It is listed as optional for owners who do not want to bend the factory steel lines or who prefer a braided stainless upgrade. The kit is not required for a complete installation.

What aftermarket wheel sizes are recommended with this lift?

ICON's own application notes recommend ICON Alloys wheels in 17x8.5 inches with 5-inch backspace and 6mm offset, 18x9 inches with 5.25-inch backspace and 6mm offset, or 20x9 inches with 5.25-inch backspace and 6mm offset. OEM wheels and tires are also confirmed compatible. Tires up to 35x12.50 inches are recommended; larger tires may fit but fender trimming and modifications would be required.
