The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Suspension System delivers a 2.5-inch lift for 2020-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with 4WD and a diesel engine, combining progressive dual-rate coil springs, CDC Valve remote-reservoir front shocks, piggyback rear shocks, an adjustable track bar, a dual opposing steering stabilizer kit, and a bump stop spacer kit into one engineered package. Lift height figures are based on a 4WD Crew Cab Diesel configuration.

Springs Built for Diesel Weight
ICON engineered these dual-rate coil springs specifically for the heavier front-end load of diesel-powered Super Duty trucks. The progressive rate design means the spring responds differently under light loads than under heavy ones, maintaining a composed ride on the highway while providing the resistance needed when towing or running loaded. Because 2020-2022 Super Duty trucks ride lower from the factory than 2017-2019 models, ICON developed new spring rates for this generation to hit the correct 2.5-inch lift height rather than reusing earlier-generation components that would result in unwanted additional height.
CDC Valve Shocks, Front and Rear
The front shocks are 2.5 Aluminum Series remote-reservoir units with ICON's CDC (Compression Damping Control) Valve, which lets the driver adjust compression damping without tools directly at the shock body. The rear shocks are 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback-reservoir units, also CDC Valve-equipped, and are rated for 0 to 3 inches of rear lift over stock. Both front and rear shocks feature hard-anodized, one-piece impact-extruded aluminum bodies with 7/8-inch shafts, are fully rebuildable and revalvable, and use FK rod-end bearings for reduced deflection and extended service life. ICON states approximately 25 percent more front wheel travel over stock.
Track Bar and Steering Stabilizer Included
The Stage 5 system adds an adjustable track bar (part 64038) designed for 2017-2022 Super Duty applications, correcting axle centerline position after the lift. A dual opposing 2.0 Aluminum Series steering stabilizer kit (part 65000, with two stabilizer units) is also included, reducing steering wander and feedback on rough surfaces. A 2-inch bump stop spacer kit (part 64037) rounds out the component list. ICON notes that the track bar bracket (part 64039) is separately recommended to correct bump steer geometry, and that a braided stainless brake line kit (part 61111) is optional for buyers who prefer not to bend the factory steel lines.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2020-2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with 4WD and a diesel engine where the owner wants a 2.5-inch lift with meaningful suspension performance gains for towing, job-site use, or off-road driving. Trucks with the Tremor package will see approximately 1.5 inches of front lift over stock rather than 2.5 inches.
This system does not fit F-350 Cab and Chassis models. The coil springs are rated for diesel engines only and are not appropriate for gas-powered Super Duty trucks. The system does not include the optional track bar bump steer bracket (part 64039) or the optional braided stainless brake line kit (part 61111), which are sold separately. Rare cases may require a 2.6-degree alignment cam on one side for proper caster split; alignment work by a qualified shop is required after installation.
Common Questions
Does this system fit gas-powered F-250 and F-350 trucks?
No. The ICON Stage 5 system for 2020-2022 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty uses coil springs rated specifically for diesel engines. Gas-powered Super Duty trucks require a different spring rate and are not covered by this system's fitment.
What lift height will a Tremor-package truck see?
Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with the Tremor package will see approximately 1.5 inches of front lift over stock with this system, rather than the standard 2.5-inch figure. The 2.5-inch lift height is based on a 4WD Crew Cab Diesel without the Tremor package.
Are the track bar bump steer bracket and brake line kit included?
Neither is included in the Stage 5 system. ICON recommends the track bar bump steer bracket (part 64039) to correct bump steer geometry after the lift, and offers an optional braided stainless brake line kit (part 61111) for buyers who prefer not to bend the factory steel lines. Both are sold separately.
Can the shocks be rebuilt or revalved later?
Yes. The 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks included in this Stage 5 system are fully rebuildable and revalvable, which means damping characteristics can be adjusted by a qualified shock technician as driving needs change or after high-mileage use.
Does this system work with the F-350 Cab and Chassis?
No. The ICON Stage 5 system for 2020-2022 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty is not compatible with F-350 Cab and Chassis models. It is designed for standard cab configurations on the F-250 and F-350 Super Duty only.
