Matched Tuning Across Every Component

Because the coil springs, front remote reservoir shocks, rear piggyback shocks, and steering stabilizers are developed and valved together, each component's tune accounts for the loads the others place on the chassis. The 2.5 Series front shocks carry ICON's CDC Valve, which lets the driver adjust compression damping without tools, so the same truck can run a firm highway setting one day and a more compliant off-road setting the next. Shocks are fully rebuildable and revalvable, keeping the system serviceable over the long term rather than requiring full replacement when damping characteristics change with use.

Front Travel and Spring Rate

The ICON-engineered dual-rate coil springs increase front wheel travel approximately 25 percent over the factory suspension. A dual-rate design uses a softer initial rate for small-bump compliance and a stiffer secondary rate as the suspension compresses further, giving the truck controlled body motion under load without the harshness of a single high-rate spring. The springs carry a lifetime guarantee against breakage or sag, and ICON fabricated components carry a lifetime guarantee against breakage or defect.

Steering and Track Bar Geometry

The kit includes an adjustable track bar designed specifically for the 2017-and-up Super Duty, which corrects the lateral axle position that shifts when the front end is lifted. The dual opposing 2.0 Aluminum Series steering stabilizer kit addresses the increased steering inputs that accompany larger tires and lifted geometry. An alignment cam set is included; in rare cases a 2.6-degree cam may be required on one side to achieve proper caster split. A bump steer bracket (part 64039, sold separately) is also recommended to fully correct bump steer geometry.

Are the front shocks adjustable after installation?
