The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Suspension System delivers a 2.5-inch front lift for 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD Diesel trucks, combining dual-rate coil springs, 2.5 Aluminum Series CDCV remote reservoir front shocks, and CDCV piggyback reservoir rear shocks into a single bolt-on package engineered for towing, work-site terrain, and highway use. This system fits single rear wheel models only and is rated for diesel engines only.

Externally Adjustable Damping at Both Ends
Front and rear shocks in this system are each equipped with ICON's CDC Valve, giving the driver 10 settings of compression damping adjustment from soft to hard without removing a wheel or going under the truck. That range matters on a heavy-duty diesel: a softer setting absorbs rough construction-site roads and washboard dirt, while a firmer setting reduces body roll and keeps a loaded trailer tracking straight on the highway. The adjustment is made on the vehicle, so dialing in the ride for a specific load or terrain takes seconds, not a shop visit.
Remote and Piggyback Reservoirs for Sustained Performance
The 2.5 Aluminum Series front shocks run remote reservoirs; the rear shocks use piggyback reservoirs. Both configurations increase fluid volume beyond what a standard shock body holds, which extends the duration of consistent damping during repeated hard hits on long off-road runs or heavily loaded work routes. Greater fluid volume also keeps operating temperatures lower under sustained use, reducing fade when the truck is working hardest.
Geometry Correction Built Into the Kit
The Stage 5 system includes an adjustable front track bar with a massive FK rod end for precise front axle centering, application-specific alignment cams to restore proper caster after the lift, and a dual steering stabilizer kit using ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series stabilizers. Rear leaf spring expansion packs with blocks and U-bolts add compliance and reduce axle wrap. These components address the geometry changes a 2.5-inch lift introduces rather than leaving them for the installer to solve separately. No drilling, cutting, or welding is required for installation.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits owners of 2011–2016 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty 4WD Diesel trucks with single rear wheels who want a 2.5-inch front lift with externally adjustable damping for mixed use: towing, work sites, dirt roads, and highway driving, without cutting or welding.
This system does not fit F-350 Cab and Chassis models, dual rear wheel configurations, gas-engine Super Duty trucks, or any Ford Super Duty outside the 2011–2016 model years. The coil springs are rated for diesel engines only and must not be used on gas-powered trucks. ICON also recommends adding the track bar bump steer bracket kit (part 64039) separately to fully correct bump steer geometry; that part is not included in this kit.
Common Questions
Does this system work on gas-powered F-250 or F-350 trucks?
No. The ICON Stage 5 coil springs in this kit are rated for diesel engines only. Gas-powered 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks require a different spring specification and are not compatible with this system.
How much lift does this system add at the rear?
The rear lift varies by model. On an F-250, the included blocks replace the OE rear blocks and add approximately 0.5 inches of rear lift over stock. On an F-350, the same blocks result in a rear ride height approximately 0.5 inches lower than stock. Front lift is 2.5 inches on both models.
What does the CDC Valve adjustment do, and how is it changed?
The CDC Valve on both the front and rear shocks provides 10 settings of compression damping adjustment, ranging from soft to hard. Adjustment is made on the vehicle without removing wheels or lifting the truck, allowing the driver to tune the ride for a loaded trailer, rough terrain, or smooth highway use as conditions change.
Is any cutting, drilling, or welding required to install this kit?
No. The ICON Stage 5 Suspension System is a 100% bolt-on kit. No drive shaft modifications are required either. An installation guide is included, and ICON separately recommends adding the track bar bump steer bracket (part 64039) to fully address bump steer geometry, though that part is sold separately.
Does installing this system affect towing capacity?
ICON states that the Stage 5 system increases wheel travel and ride quality over stock with no change in towing capacity. The system is specifically designed with towing use in mind, and the CDC Valve adjustment allows the driver to firm up damping when towing a loaded trailer.
