Corrected Steering Geometry at Full Lift

Lifting a heavy-duty truck 4.5 inches without addressing steering geometry creates bump steer and premature wear on front-end components. The Stage 5 kit includes a forged drop pitman arm, a track bar drop bracket, and a bearing-style adjustable track bar specifically to restore correct steering angles at the lifted ride height. The adjustable track bar also lets the installer center the front axle under the truck, eliminating the lateral offset that a fixed bar would leave behind.

Tunable Compression Damping on Every Shock

All four shocks in this kit (the front 2.5 VS RR CDCV pair and the rear 2.5 VS PB CDCV pair) include an external compression damping adjustment knob. Turning that knob changes how the shock responds to compression inputs without removing the shock from the truck, so damping can be dialed softer for highway miles and firmer for loaded towing or rough terrain. The one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders resist corrosion and maintain a consistent finish over the life of the shock; 7/8-inch shafts and FK bearings handle the side loads that link-arm front suspensions generate.

Reduced Bind Across the Full Travel Range

Factory link bushings introduce bind as the suspension moves through its travel, which dulls response and accelerates bushing wear. The fixed tubular steel upper and lower link arms in this kit replace those bushings with a geometry that reduces bind throughout the entire travel range, improving both on-road ride quality and off-road wheel tracking. No driveshaft modifications are required. The system is designed to clear 35-inch tires without modification; some 37-inch tires fit with minor fender-well trimming.
