The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Suspension System for 2014–2026 Ram 2500 4WD Diesel (coil-spring rear) delivers 2.5 inches of front lift and 0.5 inches of rear lift through a complete matched set of springs, shocks, and track bars engineered and tuned as a single package. The system is available in one configuration covering all qualifying Ram 2500 4WD diesel coil-spring-rear submodels, with the exception of the Rebel, which receives 0.5 inches of front lift.

Active Damping That Reads the Road
The 2.5 Aluminum Series remote-reservoir front shocks and piggyback-reservoir rear shocks each carry ICON's Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV), which makes near-instantaneous compression adjustments at each corner independently. Because the valve responds to real-time G-force and chassis-movement data gathered by onboard sensors through ICON Intelligent Control (IIC), the truck adapts to washboard, whoops, and highway pavement without the driver switching modes manually. Once configured through the IIC app on an iOS device, the system operates without further driver input.
Triple-Rate Rear Springs for Loaded and Unloaded Driving
The rear of the Stage 5 system uses triple-rate performance coil springs rather than a single-rate design. The lighter initial rate smooths out small impacts and washboard when the bed is empty; the secondary rate maintains ride quality under moderate load; the aggressive third overload rate resists bottom-outs and provides payload support, though at a reduced ride height. A 3/4-ton owner who alternates between unladen off-road use and occasional work-site loads benefits from this progression without having to choose a single spring rate for both conditions.
Axle Alignment Built Into the Kit
Lifting a solid-axle truck shifts the front and rear axles off center. The Stage 5 system addresses this directly with both a front and a rear adjustable track bar, each fitted with PTFE-lined spherical bearings in place of the factory rubber bushings. The spherical bearings eliminate the deflection that rubber allows, sharpening steering response and reducing body roll compared to stock. Adjustability lets the installer center each axle precisely under the frame rather than accepting whatever position a fixed-length bar produces.
Features
- 2.5 Aluminum Series Remote-Reservoir Front Shocks with CDEV: active compression damping with electronic valve control, matched to dual-rate front coil springs
- 2.5 Aluminum Series Piggyback-Reservoir Rear Shocks with CDEV: tuned in length and damping to complement the triple-rate rear coil springs
- Front and Rear Adjustable Track Bars: PTFE-lined spherical FK bearings replace factory rubber joints for improved rigidity and axle centering
- Triple-Rate Rear Performance Coil Springs: progressive spring rates for compliant unladen ride and overload resistance under payload
- ICON Intelligent Control (IIC): sensor-driven active damping management via iOS app; operates autonomously once configured
- OEM Wheels and Tires Compatible: fits stock wheel and tire sizes; no driveshaft modifications required

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2014–2026 Ram 2500 4WD diesel owners with coil-spring rear suspensions who want improved off-road ride quality and active damping control on rough terrain (construction-site roads, washboard, and backcountry dirt) while retaining OEM wheel and tire fitment and avoiding driveshaft modifications.
This system does not fit Ram 2500 2WD models, gasoline-engine Ram 2500s, Ram 2500s equipped with rear factory air ride, or any vehicle outside the 2014–2026 Ram 2500 range. It is not designed for owners whose primary use is heavy towing or hauling; helper air bags are recommended for those applications. The IIC app requires an iOS device. ADAS recalibration is required after installation. Common Questions
Does this system fit a Ram 2500 with a gasoline engine or a 2WD drivetrain?
The ICON Stage 5 system for the 2014–2026 Ram 2500 is rated for diesel engines and 4WD drivetrains only. Gasoline-engine Ram 2500s and 2WD models are not compatible with this kit.
How much lift does this system provide on the Ram 2500 Rebel?
On the Ram 2500 Rebel submodel, this Stage 5 system provides 0.5 inches of front lift rather than the 2.5 inches delivered on most other Ram 2500 4WD submodels. Rear lift is 0.5 inches across all compatible submodels.
Can this system be used on a Ram 2500 with rear factory air ride?
No. The ICON Stage 5 system for the 2014–2026 Ram 2500 is not compatible with vehicles equipped with rear factory air ride. It is designed specifically for coil-spring rear suspension configurations.
Is an iOS device required to use ICON Intelligent Control?
Yes. The ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) app, which is used to configure the CDEV compression damping settings on this Stage 5 system, requires an iOS-operated device. Once the system is configured, it operates autonomously without further driver input.
Does installing this system require driveshaft modifications or ADAS recalibration?
No driveshaft modifications are required for this Stage 5 system on the 2014–2026 Ram 2500. However, recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is required after installation.
Is this system suitable for heavy towing or hauling?
This Stage 5 system was developed for 3/4-ton truck owners focused on off-road performance rather than heavy towing or hauling. The performance rear coil springs may cause reduced ride height while towing, and helper air bags are recommended when hauling or towing heavy loads.
