The ICON Stage 5 Coilover Conversion System is a complete bolt-in front and rear suspension upgrade for 2005–2010 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD trucks, delivering 4–5.5 inches of adjustable ride height, increased wheel travel, and vehicle-specific shock valving for improved on- and off-road dynamics. Springs in this system are rated for diesel-engine applications only. The system ships in multiple boxes and fits one vehicle configuration: 2005–2010 Ford F-250/F-350 4WD.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Height Adjustability Without Compromise

The front coilover conversion mounts directly in the OEM coil bucket location (no cutting or custom fabrication required) and allows ride height to be set anywhere in the 4–5.5 inch lift range after installation. That adjustability means the truck can be dialed in for daily highway use or raised for clearance on rough terrain without swapping components. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle; final height will vary with added weight or accessories.

Built to Last and Be Serviced

Front coilover shock bodies are CAD-plated for corrosion resistance and use a 7/8" shaft. Eibach coil springs are guaranteed for life against sagging or breakage. Rear shocks feature one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for consistent finish and long-term corrosion resistance. All shocks are fully rebuildable and revalveable, so the system can be serviced or tuned as needs change rather than replaced outright.

Reduced Body Roll, Improved Stability

FK rod end bearings throughout the front linkage minimize deflection and extend service life compared to rubber bushings. The dual opposing stabilizer kit (two 2.0 VS IR stabilizers) works with the adjustable track bar and four-link front geometry to reduce body roll and sharpen steering response both on pavement and off. The coilover conversion also allows for the addition of a secondary shock when the application calls for it.

Features

  • Bolt-in fitment: mounts in OEM coil bucket location; coil centering cup removal required
  • Adjustable ride height: 4–5.5" lift range, set by the end user after installation
  • FK rod end bearings: front linkage uses FK rod ends for longevity and minimal deflection
  • Eibach coil springs: lifetime guarantee against sagging or breakage; rated for diesel engines only
  • Fully rebuildable shocks: front and rear shocks are rebuildable and revalveable
  • Dual stabilizer kit: two 2.0 VS IR stabilizers in opposing configuration included

Who This Is For and Isn't

The ICON Stage 5 Coilover Conversion System suits owners of 2005–2010 Ford F-250 or F-350 4WD trucks running diesel engines who want a complete, adjustable-height suspension upgrade with improved wheel travel, reduced body roll, and shocks that can be rebuilt and retuned over time.

This system is not compatible with gas-engine F-250/F-350 applications. The Eibach coil springs are rated for diesel engines only. It does not fit F-250/F-350 trucks outside the 2005–2010 model years, and it is not a 2WD application. Tires larger than 35×12.50" will require fender trimming and additional modifications. Installation requires removal of the coil centering cup in the factory coil bucket.

Common Questions

Does this system work with a gas-engine F-250 or F-350?

No. The Eibach coil springs included in the ICON Stage 5 Coilover Conversion System are rated for diesel engines only. Gas-engine 2005–2010 F-250/F-350 applications are not compatible with this system as configured.

What lift height will the truck sit at after installation?

The ICON Stage 5 system provides an adjustable lift range of 4–5.5 inches. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle; actual ride height will vary depending on added accessories, payload, or other modifications to the truck.

Is any cutting or welding required to install this system?

The ICON Stage 5 Coilover Conversion System is a bolt-in design that mounts in the OEM coil bucket location. One step that is required: the coil centering cup in the factory coil bucket must be removed before installation. No cutting of the coil bucket is stated as required.

What wheels and tires are recommended with this lift?

OEM wheels fit this system. Recommended aftermarket wheels are ICON Alloys in 17×8.5" with 5.00" backspace and 6mm offset, 18×9" with 5.25" backspace and 6mm offset, or 20×9" with 5.25" backspace and 6mm offset. The recommended maximum tire size is 35×12.50"; larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and modifications.

Can the shocks be serviced or retuned after installation?

Yes. All shocks in the ICON Stage 5 Coilover Conversion System are fully rebuildable and revalveable. The coilover conversion design also allows for the addition of a secondary shock if the application calls for it.
