The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 5 Billet Suspension System is a complete front-and-rear upgrade for 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma trucks, delivering 1.25-3" of adjustable front lift and approximately 0.5" of rear lift via 2.5 Series CDCV remote reservoir coilovers, billet aluminum upper control arms with Delta Joint PRO, a front differential drop kit, and dual-rate Overland rear coil springs with 2.5 Aluminum Series remote reservoir rear shocks. This kit is configured for 4WD Tacoma models; 2WD installations do not require the included differential drop.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Remote Reservoirs and 10-Level Damping Control

The 2.5 Series front coilovers and rear shocks each carry CDCV-equipped remote reservoirs that substantially increase shock oil volume and heat-dissipation surface area. Under sustained hard use, heat buildup causes damper fade and cavitation; the larger oil capacity and added surface area of the remote reservoir delay both. The externally adjustable CDC Valves restrict oil flow into the reservoir across 10 discrete compression damping settings, so the driver can tune from a compliant daily-drive feel to a firm off-road setting without tools beyond the adjustment knob.

Corrected Geometry Through the Full Range of Travel

The billet aluminum upper control arms restore and improve front-end geometry that factory arms compromise when ride height changes. On-vehicle camber and caster are adjustable, and the patented Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) replaces the OE ball joint with a serviceable, rebuildable unit offering 90 degrees of total articulation. Full bump and droop travel is available without bind. The front differential drop kit (part 55160) is included and positions the differential to maximize CV operating angle and available wheel travel on 4WD models.

Dual-Rate Rear Springs Tuned for Loaded Overlanders

The Overland rear coil springs use a dual-rate design: a softer initial rate for unloaded on-road comfort, transitioning to a firmer overload rate under added weight. The springs are calibrated to net approximately 0.5" of rear lift with roughly 600 lb of additional weight in the rear. Adding or removing accessories will shift the actual lift height from that figure. The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks include integrated bump zones and vehicle-specific valving tuned to balance front-to-rear damping with the included coilovers.

Features

  • Adjustable front lift: 1.25-3" over stock via height-adjustable 2.5 Series coilovers with 7/8" shafts and CAD-plated bodies
  • CDCV remote reservoirs: front and rear, with 10-level externally adjustable compression damping on all shocks
  • Billet aluminum UCAs: with patented Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700), 90° articulation, and on-vehicle caster/camber adjustment
  • Front differential drop kit: part 55160 included; maximizes CV operating angle and wheel travel on 4WD models
  • Dual-rate Overland rear coil springs: approximately 0.5" rear lift with ~600 lb added rear weight; FK Rod End bearings throughout
  • 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components: with polyurethane differential mounting bushings replacing soft OE units

Who This Is For and Isn't

This Stage 5 system suits 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma 4WD owners building a capable overland or off-road truck who want adjustable front lift, corrected suspension geometry, and tunable damping front and rear in a single kit. The dual-rate rear springs are specifically calibrated for heavily loaded builds carrying approximately 600 lb of gear and accessories.

This kit will not fit any Tacoma submodel equipped with rear leaf springs. It is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles. OEM wheels and tires fit, but tires larger than 33x11.50" may require fender trimming. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) require recalibration after installation. An adjustable track bar is recommended to realign the rear axle after installation but is not included.

Common Questions

Does this kit fit 2WD Tacoma models?

The ICON Stage 5 kit is configured for 4WD Toyota Tacoma models. On a 2WD Tacoma, the front differential drop kit (part 55160) included in this system is not needed; the remaining suspension components can be purchased individually and used with full system functionality. ICON notes that 2WD-specific kits are forthcoming.

What compression damping adjustment does this system offer?

All shocks in the Stage 5 system, both the front coilovers and the rear shocks, are equipped with externally adjustable CDC Valves providing 10 discrete compression damping settings, from soft to firm, without removing the shock from the vehicle.

How much rear lift should I expect?

The Overland dual-rate rear coil springs are calibrated to deliver approximately 0.5" of rear lift over stock when the vehicle carries roughly 600 lb of additional weight in the rear. Actual lift height will vary as accessory load increases or decreases from that baseline.

Is this system compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension?

No. The ICON Stage 5 Billet system is not compatible with Toyota Tacoma models equipped with the factory Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) option. Confirm your Tacoma's suspension configuration before ordering.

What wheel and tire sizes are recommended?

ICON recommends ICON Alloys wheels in 17x8.5 with 5.75" backspace / 25mm offset or 18x9 with 6.00" backspace / 25mm offset. Recommended tire size is 33x11.50"; larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and additional modifications. OEM wheels and tires are also compatible.
