The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 4 Ultimate Front End Kit (K6214) is a four-component front-end rebuild system for 2005–2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks, addressing steering vagueness, death-wobble, and alignment drift by replacing worn OE steering and suspension components with rebuildable, heavy-duty hardware. The kit pairs ICON's own Centerline Steering Stabilizer and alignment cams with Dynatrac HD BallJoints and an ICON track bar ball joint for a complete front-end solution in a single purchase.

Centerline Stabilizer Eliminates Push/Pull Steering

The ICON Centerline Steering Stabilizer uses a through-shaft design that delivers equal damping force on both compression and rebound strokes, removing the push/pull sensation common with single-ended stabilizers. The 2.5-inch diameter body and piggyback reservoir increase fluid volume, resisting heat fade and cavitation during sustained off-road use or highway miles with oversize tires. The stabilizer body shares components with ICON's 2.5 Series shock absorbers: a 6061 hard-anodized aluminum body, a 7/8-inch chrome-plated induction-hardened steel shaft, and FK Rod End bearings. The unit is fully rebuildable and provides more steering travel than ICON's own dual-stabilizer kit.

Dynatrac HD BallJoints Built for Heavy Loads and Large Tires

The full set of front upper and lower Dynatrac HD BallJoints included in Stage 4 uses heat-treated high-strength billet bodies with chromoly stems and a heat-treated, precision-ground stainless-steel ball. Unique seals block contamination, greaseable fittings allow routine maintenance, and PTFE-coated wear points extend service life. The joints are rebuildable while still installed in the front axle housing, making long-term upkeep practical rather than requiring axle removal. OEM ball joints on these trucks wear quickly under larger tires or heavy off-road use; the Dynatrac units are built specifically for the load demands of the F-250 and F-350 platform.

Track Bar Ball Joint and Alignment Cams Complete the System

The ICON Track Bar Ball Joint Kit uses metal-on-metal internal construction for a rigid, wobble-free joint and a greaseable design for long service life. It presses directly into the OE front axle on 2005–2016 trucks, or into ICON's adjustable front track bar on 2017–2022 trucks. The ICON Alignment Cam Kit adds caster adjustment to bring lifted Super Dutys back into factory alignment specification; the cams are optimized for 2–3 inches of front lift and are not recommended for stock-height vehicles.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This kit suits 2005–2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD owners running 2–3 inches of front lift who are experiencing steering vagueness, death-wobble, or alignment issues caused by worn OE ball joints, a worn track bar ball joint, or an inadequate stock steering stabilizer. It is compatible with OE front axles and, for the track bar ball joint on 2017–2022 trucks, with ICON's own adjustable front track bar.

This kit does not fit F-350 dually models equipped with the Wide Track front axle, axles fitted with RCV axle shafts, or vehicles with most aftermarket differential covers or aftermarket tie rods. On 2017–2022 trucks, the track bar ball joint may not be compatible with other brands of aftermarket track bars. The alignment cams are not recommended for stock-height vehicles. Trucks from model years 2017–2022 also require a minimum 2-inch bump stop spacer (ICON part 64037, sold separately). ICON also recommends track bar bracket part 64039 for 2008–2022 models to correct bump steer geometry (sold separately).

Common Questions

What is included in the Stage 4 Ultimate Front End Kit?

The Stage 4 kit (K6214) includes four assemblies: the ICON Centerline Steering Stabilizer Kit with piggyback reservoir (65052), a full set of Dynatrac HD BallJoints for Dana 60 and Dynatrac Pro 60 knuckles (BJK-D60A), the ICON Track Bar Ball Joint Service Kit (614528), and the ICON Alignment Cam Kit (62530). No additional suspension lift components are included in this kit.

Does this kit fit both the F-250 and F-350, and are there any exclusions?

The Stage 4 Ultimate Front End Kit fits 2005–2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD trucks. It does not fit F-350 dually models with the Wide Track front axle, axles with RCV axle shafts, or trucks with most aftermarket differential covers or aftermarket tie rods. Compatibility with other brands of aftermarket track bars on 2017–2022 trucks is not confirmed.

Do 2017–2022 trucks need any additional parts?

Yes. On 2017–2022 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks, this Stage 4 kit requires a minimum 2-inch bump stop spacer (ICON part 64037, sold separately). ICON also recommends adding track bar bracket part 64039 for 2008–2022 models to correct bump steer geometry; that bracket is also sold separately.

What lift height does the alignment cam kit support?

The ICON Alignment Cam Kit included in this Stage 4 kit is optimized for Ford Super Duty trucks with 2–3 inches of front lift. The cams are not recommended for stock-height vehicles, as they are designed to restore caster to factory specification after a lift has been installed.

Are the steering stabilizer and ball joints rebuildable?

Yes. The ICON Centerline Steering Stabilizer shares components with ICON's 2.5 Series shock absorbers and is fully rebuildable. The Dynatrac HD BallJoints are also rebuildable while still installed in the front axle housing, which means long-term maintenance does not require removing the axle.
