The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 4 3.0 Suspension System is a complete seven-component lift and performance upgrade for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra, delivering 2–3.25" of front lift on i-Force gasoline models and active, app-controlled compression damping adjustment front and rear via ICON Intelligent Control (IIC). The system pairs 3.0 Series CDEV front coilovers with 2.5 Aluminum Series CDEV rear remote reservoir shocks, tubular upper control arms with the Delta Joint PRO, adjustable rear upper and lower links, and a sway bar drop kit. Front lift range varies by sub-model; see application notes below.

3.0 Series Front Coilovers with Active Damping
The 3.0 Series remote reservoir front coilovers at the heart of this system offer 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone and 100% more in the Bump Zone compared to 2.5 Series shocks. The multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance through the last 40% of shock travel, giving the Tundra composure over hard hits and unexpected obstacles. The Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) at each shock allows active compression damping adjustment on the fly. ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) reads onboard G-force and chassis-movement sensors and makes near-instant damping changes automatically; the system can also be configured and monitored wirelessly through the IIC app. An iOS device is required to run the IIC app.
Corrected Geometry and Full Wheel Travel
The included tubular upper control arms replace the OE units with corrected front-end geometry, added caster, and improved suspension component clearance. The patented ICON Delta Joint PRO (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700) replaces the OE ball joint with a serviceable, rebuildable unit offering 90 degrees of total articulation, allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. The sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in OE sway bar links across the full suspension travel range, letting the suspension move freely without overstressing OE components. Together, these pieces yield up to a 40% increase in front wheel travel over stock.
Rear Links and 2.5 Aluminum Series CDEV Shocks
The tubular rear upper and lower links are made from 1-3/4" x .313-wall DOM tubing with a multi-stage black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance. PTFE-lined FK rod ends provide increased articulation, reduced deflection, and link-arm length adjustability for pinion angle tuning. Multi-durometer bushings allow noise-free operation and maximum angularity without periodic greasing. The 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks are also equipped with CDE Valves for active compression damping adjustment and include an internal Bump Zone that adds 20% damping force at the end of travel. Remote reservoirs keep operating temperatures lower during sustained heavy use for consistent damping performance.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra owners running 4WD who want active, electronically controlled suspension with meaningful front lift, corrected geometry, and the ability to run up to 35" tires. It works with i-Force gasoline and i-Force MAX hybrid engines, and with TRD Pro, TRD Sport, and non-TRD sub-models, though lift range varies by sub-model as noted in the specifications above.
This system is not compatible with Tundra models equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Tundra models with Load-Leveling Air Suspension also require ICON part 55153 (sold separately) if equipped with automatic leveling headlights. 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package require ICON Differential Drop Kit part 55156 or Toyota TRD axles (not required for TRD Pro). Tundras equipped with a TRD aluminum skid plate require ICON part 55164 (sold separately). ADAS recalibration is required after installation. The IIC app requires an iOS device. Lift heights stated are for a stock-weight vehicle; added accessories will alter lift range.
Common Questions
What makes the Stage 4 system different from the Stage 1 3.0 system?
The Stage 4 3.0 Suspension System for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra builds on the Stage 1 3.0 system with these additions: CDEV-equipped 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks, ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) for active automatic damping adjustment, tubular front upper control arms with the Delta Joint PRO, adjustable tubular rear upper and lower links, and a sway bar drop kit. None of those components are included in the Stage 1 system.
Does the IIC system adjust damping automatically, or does the driver have to do it?
ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) uses onboard sensors to monitor G-forces and chassis movement and makes near-instant compression damping adjustments automatically at each individual shock. The driver can configure preferences wirelessly through the IIC app on an iOS device; once set, the system operates without driver input.
Is this system compatible with my Tundra's Adaptive Variable Suspension or air suspension?
The Stage 4 3.0 Suspension System is not compatible with Tundra models equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Tundras with automatic leveling headlights and Load-Leveling Air Suspension additionally require ICON part 55153, sold separately.
What lift height will this system give my Tundra?
Front lift range for the Stage 4 3.0 Suspension System on the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra depends on sub-model and engine: 2–3.25" for most i-Force gasoline models, 2–2.75" for i-Force MAX hybrid models, 0–1.25" for TRD Pro, and 3–4.5" for SR5 models with the TRD Sport Suspension package. Rear lift is 0–1.5" on coil-spring models without TRD suspension, and 0–1" on TRD suspension and TRD Pro models. All figures are for a stock-weight vehicle.
Are the shocks in this system rebuildable?
The 3.0 Series front coilovers and the 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks included in the Stage 4 3.0 Suspension System are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. The tubular upper control arm's Delta Joint PRO ball joint is also serviceable and rebuildable.
