ICON Stage 3 TRD 3.0 Suspension System for 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra
ICON Stage 3 TRD 3.0 Suspension System for 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra
Couldn't load pickup availability
The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 3 (TRD) 3.0 Suspension System is a complete eight-component lift and performance suspension kit for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra, delivering 1.25–3.25" of adjustable front lift over stock on i-Force gasoline models and a matched rear lift of 0.75" on TRD-equipped trucks. The system pairs 3.0 Series CDXS remote-reservoir front coilovers and rear shocks with billet aluminum upper control arms, triple-rate rear coil springs, an adjustable rear track bar, billet rear upper and lower links, and a front sway bar drop kit. Front lift range varies by powertrain and trim; see the application notes in the Specifications section.

3.0 Series CDXS Coilovers and Rear Shocks
The front coilovers and rear shocks in this system are ICON's 3.0 Series remote-reservoir units, each equipped with CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) valving. CDXS provides independent adjustability of high-speed and low-speed compression force through 10 detented settings on each knob, so the suspension can be tuned separately for handling response and overall aggressiveness without tools beyond the adjustment knobs. The 3.0 Series shock body offers 50% more piston surface area in the ride zone and 100% more in the Bump Zone compared to 2.5 Series shocks. ICON's multi-stage hydraulic Bump Zone exponentially increases bottom-out resistance through the last 40% of shock travel. The front coilovers yield up to a 40% increase in front wheel travel over stock; the rear shocks yield a 20% increase in rear wheel travel over stock. Increased internal oil volume, greater external surface area, and remote reservoirs improve heat dissipation and reduce shock fade under sustained hard use. All shock absorbers in this system are fully rebuildable and re-tunable.
Billet Aluminum Control Arms, Links, and Track Bar
The included billet aluminum front upper control arms correct front-end geometry, expand on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment range, and improve suspension component clearance over the OE arms. The OE ball joint is replaced by ICON's Delta Joint PRO, a serviceable and rebuildable unit with 90 degrees of total articulation (U.S. Pat. 10,731,700), allowing full bump and droop travel without bind. Billet rear upper and lower links are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, anodized for corrosion resistance, and fitted with PTFE-lined FK rod ends for increased articulation and reduced deflection; ICON's double adjuster system allows on-vehicle link length adjustment. Multi-durometer bushings throughout eliminate the need for periodic greasing. The billet adjustable rear track bar, also CNC machined from solid 6061 aluminum and anodized, centers the rear axle after lift and allows fine on-vehicle length adjustment without removing or disassembling the bar.
Triple-Rate Rear Coil Springs and Sway Bar Drop Kit
The triple-rate rear coil springs use a softer droop and ride rate combined with a firmer overload rate, delivering on-road comfort alongside strong bottoming resistance off-road. On a Tundra equipped with TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, or TRD Pro suspension, the springs net 0.75" of rear lift. On a Tundra without those packages, the springs net 1.25" of rear lift. The included front sway bar drop brackets reduce bind in the OE sway bar links across the full suspension travel range, allowing the suspension to move freely without overstressing OE components.

Who This Is For and Isn't
This system suits 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra owners (on i-Force gasoline or i-Force MAX hybrid powertrains, across SR5, TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, and TRD Pro trims) who want a complete, tunable lift and performance suspension upgrade with 3.0 Series damping, corrected front geometry, and the ability to run up to 35" tires. The TRD-specific rear spring rate makes it the correct choice for trucks already carrying TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, or TRD Pro suspension packages.
This system is not compatible with Tundras equipped with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. 4WD models without the TRD Off-Road package require an additional differential drop kit or TRD axles (sold separately) to avoid front axle damage. Tundras with automatic leveling headlights require an additional bracket kit (sold separately). Tundra owners wanting lower rear ride heights than this system provides should consider ICON part K53213D instead. ADAS recalibration is required after installation and is not included.
Common Questions
What is the front lift range, and does it vary by engine or trim?
The ICON Stage 3 TRD 3.0 system provides different front lift ranges depending on the Tundra's powertrain and trim. Most i-Force gasoline models gain 1.25–3.25" of front lift over stock. i-Force MAX hybrid models gain 0.75–2.75". Tundra SR5 with TRD Sport Suspension gains 2.25–4.25". TRD Pro models gain 0–1.25". All figures are for a stock-equipped vehicle; added accessories that increase vehicle weight will alter the range.
How much rear lift do the included triple-rate coil springs provide?
The triple-rate rear coil springs included in this Stage 3 TRD system net 0.75" of rear lift on a Tundra equipped with TRD Off-Road, TRD Sport, or TRD Pro suspension packages. A Tundra without those packages will see 1.25" of rear lift. Tundra owners who want lower rear ride heights should consider ICON part K53213D.
Is this system compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension or Load-Leveling Air Suspension?
The ICON Stage 3 TRD 3.0 system is not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) or Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension. Tundras equipped with automatic leveling headlights (but not the full air suspension) can use this system with the addition of ICON part 55153, sold separately.
Do 4WD Tundras without the TRD Off-Road package need additional parts?
Yes. On 4WD Tundra models without the TRD Off-Road package, ICON recommends adding the ICON Differential Drop Kit (part 55156) or installing Toyota TRD axles to avoid potential front axle damage. This additional part is not required for TRD Pro models and is not included in the Stage 3 TRD system.
What does CDXS mean, and how is it adjusted?
CDXS (Compression Damping Dual Speed) is ICON's valving system that independently controls high-speed and low-speed compression force. Both the front coilovers and rear shocks in this Stage 3 system include CDXS, with 10 detented settings on each of the two adjustment knobs (high-speed and low-speed), allowing separate tuning for handling response and overall aggressiveness without removing the shocks from the vehicle.
What components are included in this system?
The ICON Stage 3 TRD 3.0 system includes eight component kits: a 3.0 Series CDXS remote-reservoir front coilover kit, billet aluminum front upper control arm kit with Delta Joint PRO, front sway bar drop kit, billet rear lower link kit, billet rear upper link kit, billet adjustable rear track bar, 1.25" lift triple-rate rear coil spring kit, and a 3.0 Series CDXS remote-reservoir rear shock pair.
