The ICON Stage 3 Suspension System raises 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks 7 inches in front and 5 inches in the rear using a matched set of dual-rate coil springs, 2.5 Aluminum Series IFP shocks, progressive-rate rear leaf springs, and the geometry hardware needed to keep steering and towing behavior correct after the lift. Springs are rated for diesel engines only, and the system is not applicable on vehicles equipped with a manual transmission.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Engineered Around Towing, Not Just Lift Height

A 7-inch lift that compromises a Super Duty's towing capacity trades one capability for another. The Stage 3 system retains the factory block so the front and rear of the truck sit level, and the geometry components (forged pitman arm, track bar drop bracket, and fabricated radius arm drop mounts) reposition steering and suspension pickup points to match the lifted ride height. The result is a truck that tows and steers predictably at the new height rather than fighting the geometry change on every haul.

2.5 Aluminum Series IFP Shocks, Front and Rear

The front and rear 2.5 Aluminum Series smooth-body IFP shocks are match-tuned to the dual-rate coil springs up front and the progressive-rate leaf pack in the rear. One-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders resist corrosion and hold a consistent finish over time. The internal floating piston design maintains damping consistency under heavy on- or off-road use, and all shocks are fully serviceable. Coilover heights indicated are for a stock-equipped vehicle.

No Driveshaft Modifications Required

The Stage 3 system is designed so no drive shaft modifications are needed on diesel-equipped trucks. Gas-engine Super Duty models from 2008 forward may need the exhaust modified to clear the front driveshaft; confirm engine type before ordering. The system ships in multiple boxes and includes bump stop extensions, sway bar links, brake line brackets, and a 2.3-degree alignment cam kit to complete the installation without sourcing additional geometry hardware separately.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty owners running diesel engines who want 7 inches of front lift and 5 inches of rear lift without sacrificing towing capacity or requiring driveshaft modifications.

This system is not applicable on Super Duty trucks equipped with a manual transmission. The springs are rated for diesel engines only and are not intended for gas-powered Super Duty applications. Gas-engine trucks from 2008 forward may additionally require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft. Tires larger than 37×12.50 inches may require fender trimming and additional modifications.

Common Questions

Does this system work on gas-powered F-250 or F-350 trucks?

The Stage 3 springs are rated for diesel engines only and are not intended for gas-engine Super Duty applications. Gas-engine models from 2008 forward may also need the exhaust modified to clear the front driveshaft after the lift is installed. Confirm engine type before ordering this system.

Will this system fit a Super Duty with a manual transmission?

No. The ICON Stage 3 Suspension System for 2011–2016 Ford F-250/F-350 is not applicable on vehicles equipped with a manual transmission. It is designed for automatic-transmission Super Duty trucks only.

What tire size fits after installing this system?

The Stage 3 system is designed to clear 37×12.50-inch tires on OEM wheels without modification. Larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and additional modifications. ICON recommends 17×8.5, 18×9, or 20×9-inch aftermarket wheels with specific backspacing and offset figures listed in the specifications above.

Are driveshaft modifications required?

No driveshaft modifications are needed on diesel-equipped 2011–2016 Super Duty trucks running this Stage 3 system. Gas-engine models from 2008 forward are a separate case and may require exhaust modification to clear the front driveshaft; the system itself does not address that exhaust clearance.

What does the Stage 3 system include?

The ICON Stage 3 system includes 7-inch dual-rate front coil springs, front and rear 2.5 Aluminum Series IFP shocks, 5-inch progressive-rate rear leaf springs with U-bolts, fabricated radius arm drop mounts, a track bar drop bracket, bump stop extensions, sway bar links, a forged pitman arm, brake line brackets, and a 2.3-degree alignment cam kit. It ships in multiple boxes.

Can the shocks be rebuilt or serviced?

Yes. All four 2.5 Aluminum Series IFP shocks included in the Stage 3 system are fully serviceable. The one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders also resist corrosion, which helps preserve serviceability over the life of the shock.
