The ICON Stage 3 Coilover System is a complete front-and-rear suspension conversion for 4WD 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks (single rear wheel models, diesel engines only), delivering 2.5–3 inches of adjustable front lift over stock without requiring driveshaft modifications. The system ships as seven matched components tuned together as a package.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Reservoir Shocks That Stay Consistent Under Load

The front 2.5 Series remote reservoir coilovers and rear 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback reservoir shocks both use external fluid volume to extend consistent damping over repeated hits. On a loaded tow rig or a truck running rough construction-site roads, shock fade from heat buildup is a real problem; the added reservoir capacity keeps fluid temperatures lower and damping behavior more predictable mile after mile. Shocks are fully serviceable, so they can be rebuilt rather than replaced when they eventually wear.

Front Geometry Corrected, Not Just Lifted

Lifting a Super Duty without addressing front geometry shifts caster and throws axle centering off. The Stage 3 system includes an adjustable track bar with an FK rod end for on-vehicle axle centering and application-specific alignment cams to restore proper caster after the lift. Correcting these angles matters for straight-line stability, tire wear, and steering feel, particularly on a truck used for towing where handling predictability is not optional.

Rear Suspension Tuned for Compliance and Axle Control

The rear of the system uses leaf spring expansion packs, U-bolts, a 1-inch cast block kit, and a 2-inch rear bump stop spacer kit to improve compliance and reduce axle wrap under acceleration. On an F-250, the rear block adds 0.5 inches of rear lift over stock. On an F-350, the same block lowers rear ride height by 0.5 inches compared to stock. Towing capacity is not reduced compared to stock, and springs carry a lifetime guarantee against sagging or breaking.

Features

  • Adjustable front lift: 2.5 Series remote reservoir coilovers provide 2.5–3 inches of ride-height adjustment over stock
  • Geometry correction included: adjustable track bar with FK rod end and application-specific alignment cams ship with the kit
  • Rear compliance package: leaf spring expansion packs, U-bolts, 1-inch cast blocks, and 2-inch bump stop spacers address axle wrap and ride quality
  • No driveshaft modifications required
  • OEM wheels and tires fit without modification
  • Fully serviceable shocks: front and rear units can be rebuilt
  • Prop 65 Warning: this product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth anomalies, or other reproductive harm

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits owners of 4WD 2011–2016 Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty trucks with single rear wheels and diesel engines who want 2.5–3 inches of front lift, improved ride compliance on rough terrain, and geometry correction, including trucks used regularly for towing.

This system does not fit F-350 Cab and Chassis models, two-wheel-drive Super Duty trucks, or dual rear wheel configurations. The leaf springs are rated for diesel engines only and are not validated for gas-engine applications. The track bar bump steer bracket (ICON part #64039) is recommended for 2.5–5.5 inches of front lift but is sold separately and is not included in this kit. Coil centering cup removal from the factory coil bucket is required during installation.

Common Questions

Does this system fit gas-engine F-250 and F-350 trucks?

The ICON Stage 3 leaf springs included in this kit are rated for diesel engines only. Gas-engine 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks are not a validated application for this specific system.

Will OEM wheels and tires still fit after installing this system?

OEM wheels and tires fit this Stage 3 system without modification. Recommended aftermarket fitments are ICON Alloys in 17×8.5, 18×9, or 20×9 sizes with the offsets listed in the specifications table. Tires up to 35×12.50 are recommended; larger sizes may fit but could require fender trimming.

Is the bump steer correction bracket included?

The adjustable track bar with FK rod end is included in this Stage 3 kit. The ICON track bar bump steer bracket (part #64039), which is recommended to correct bump steer geometry for 2.5–5.5 inches of front lift, is sold separately and is not part of this kit.

Does installing this system require driveshaft modifications?

No driveshaft modifications are required for the ICON Stage 3 Coilover System on 2011–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks. Installation does require removing the coil centering cup from the factory coil bucket before fitting the front coilovers.

How does this system affect rear ride height differently on F-250 versus F-350?

On an F-250, the rear block included in this Stage 3 system adds 0.5 inches of rear lift over stock by replacing the OE rear blocks. On an F-350, the same block lowers rear ride height by 0.5 inches compared to stock. This difference is inherent to the OE block heights on each model.
