The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 3 Billet Suspension System is a bolt-on front and rear upgrade engineered specifically for the 2014 Ford F-150 2WD, delivering 0–2.63 inches of adjustable lift height alongside meaningfully increased wheel travel and damping performance both on pavement and off. The system ships as three matched assemblies: a 2.5-inch internal-reservoir coilover kit up front, billet aluminum upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint, and a pair of 2.5 VS Piggyback rear shocks.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Adjustable Lift With Improved Geometry

The 2.5-inch coilovers are height-adjustable across the full 0–2.63-inch lift range, so the truck can be set at the exact ride height the build requires rather than locked into a fixed lift. ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs are paired with vehicle-specific internal-reservoir shock tuning, keeping damping consistent and shock temperatures lower during sustained hard use. The coilover bodies are CAD-plated for corrosion resistance and use 7/8-inch shafts.

Billet Upper Control Arms and the Delta Joint

The 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum billet upper control arms are CNC-machined and replace the factory units to restore and improve alignment geometry, increasing caster over stock while retaining the factory alignment spec range. Each arm uses ICON's patented Delta Joint: a high-angle, greaseable ball joint with a zinc-plated housing and a grease seal that blocks contamination. Metal-on-metal construction and the greaseable design extend service life and allow noise-free operation. FK Rod End bearings at the lower bar pin reduce deflection and add longevity.

Balanced Front-to-Rear Damping

The 2.5 Aluminum Series Piggyback rear shocks (part 97720P) use one-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders for corrosion resistance and a consistent finish. Vehicle-specific valving balances rear damping to match the front coilovers, so the truck's behavior stays predictable whether loaded or unloaded. The piggyback reservoir extends consistent damping duration during heavy use without requiring a separate remote reservoir line.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2014 Ford F-150 2WD owners who want a bolt-on suspension upgrade with adjustable lift, improved wheel travel, and front-to-rear damping balance for mixed on-road and off-road driving.

This system does not fit 4WD F-150 variants, any model year other than 2014, or any vehicle other than the F-150 2WD. Not all factory OEM wheel and tire combinations clear the coilovers. Aftermarket wheels with lower offset are recommended: ICON Alloys 17x8.5 with 5.00-inch backspace/6mm offset, 18x9 with 5.25-inch backspace/6mm offset, or 20x9 with 5.625-inch backspace/16mm offset. Tires larger than 33x11.50 inches may require fender trimming. Coilover lift heights are referenced to a stock-equipped vehicle and will vary on modified trucks.

Common Questions

Does this system require cutting or welding during installation?

The ICON Stage 3 Billet system for the 2014 F-150 2WD is a bolt-on assembly. No cutting or welding is required for installation.

Will factory OEM wheels and tires fit after installing this system?

Not all factory OEM wheel and tire combinations are compatible with this system. Aftermarket wheels with lower offset and less backspace are recommended; ICON Alloys in 17x8.5, 18x9, and 20x9 sizes with the specified offsets are listed as compatible options.

What is the maximum recommended tire size?

The ICON Stage 3 system for the 2014 F-150 2WD is designed around a 33x11.50-inch tire. Larger tires may physically fit but will require fender trimming and additional modifications.

Are the shocks serviceable after installation?

All shocks in this Stage 3 system are fully serviceable, so internal components can be rebuilt or replaced rather than requiring full shock replacement.

What does the Delta Joint offer over a standard uniball?

ICON's patented Delta Joint combines the high-angle articulation of a uniball with the sealed, greaseable construction of a ball joint. A zinc-plated housing and grease seal block contamination, and the greaseable design extends service life in daily-driven conditions where a standard uniball would be exposed to the elements.
