The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 3 Billet Suspension System is a complete bolt-on lift and performance upgrade for 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD trucks, delivering 0–2.63 inches of adjustable lift height through a matched set of front 2.5" internal-reservoir coilovers, ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs, billet upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint, and 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback rear shocks. All components are vehicle-specifically tuned to work as a system front to rear.

Shipping: ICON parts ship direct from ICON Vehicle Dynamics, mostly by UPS Ground. Lead times vary by part and some items are built to order, so please allow extra time. We email tracking as soon as your order ships.

Adjustable Lift With Consistent Damping

The front 2.5" coilovers are height-adjustable across the full 0–2.63" lift range, so fitment can be dialed in without swapping springs. An internal reservoir separates the oil and nitrogen charge, extending the duration of consistent damping during sustained off-road use and keeping operating temperatures lower than a non-reservoir shock. ICON-engineered Eibach coil springs are matched to the F-150's specific weight and travel characteristics, so the truck maintains a predictable, controlled feel through the full stroke rather than only near ride height.

Billet Upper Control Arms and the Delta Joint

The billet aluminum upper control arms are CNC-machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum and replace the factory stamped arms to add strength, increase caster over stock, and help retain factory alignment spec range. This is a meaningful advantage for a truck that also sees daily highway miles. Each arm uses ICON's patented Delta Joint: a high-angle, greaseable ball joint with a zinc-plated housing and a tough grease seal that blocks moisture and debris from the inner workings. Metal-on-metal construction and the greaseable design extend service life and allow noise-free operation, addressing the exposure vulnerability of a traditional uniball while still allowing greater angularity than a standard ball joint.

Rear Balance and Corrosion Resistance

The 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback rear shocks use vehicle-specific valving to balance rear damping with the front coilovers, so the truck doesn't push or wallow when transitioning between pavement and dirt. One-piece impact-extruded aluminum cylinders give the rear shocks excellent corrosion resistance and a consistent finish. CAD-plated coilover shock bodies with 7/8" shafts and FK rod-end bearings carry the same durability focus through the front end. The entire system installs without cutting or welding.

Who This Is For and Isn't

This system suits 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD owners who want a bolt-on suspension upgrade that adds adjustable lift, increases wheel travel, and improves damping performance for mixed on-road and off-road use. Aftermarket wheels with lower offset or less backspace than OEM are recommended to take full advantage of the lift range: ICON Alloys 17x8.5" (5.00" backspace / 6mm offset), 18x9" (5.25" backspace / 6mm offset), and 20x9" (5.625" backspace / 16mm offset) are specifically noted as compatible. Recommended aftermarket tire size is 33x11.50"; larger tires may fit but will require fender trimming and modifications.

This system does not fit 2WD F-150 variants or model years outside 2009–2013. It is not compatible with all available OEM wheel and tire combinations. Aftermarket wheels with lower offset or less backspace than stock are recommended. Tires larger than 33x11.50" may require fender trimming and additional modifications not included with this kit.

Common Questions

Does this system require cutting or welding during installation?

The ICON Stage 3 Billet Suspension System for 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD is a bolt-on system. No cutting or welding is required for installation. An installation guide is included with the kit.

Will my factory wheels and tires still fit after installing this system?

This Stage 3 system is not compatible with all available OEM wheel and tire combinations. Aftermarket wheels with lower offset or less backspace than stock are recommended. ICON Alloys in 17x8.5", 18x9", and 20x9" with specific backspace and offset figures are noted as compatible options.

What lift height does this system provide?

The ICON Stage 3 Billet system provides 0–2.63 inches of adjustable lift over stock on a stock-equipped 2009–2013 Ford F-150 4WD. Lift height is adjusted via the front coilover collar; the stated range is for a stock-equipped vehicle.

What components are included in the Stage 3 kit?

The Stage 3 Billet kit includes a front 2.5" internal-reservoir coilover kit with ICON-engineered Eibach springs (qty 1), billet upper control arms with Delta Joint (qty 1 kit), and 2.5 Aluminum Series piggyback rear shocks sold as a pair. All components are vehicle-specifically tuned for the 2009–2013 F-150 4WD.

Are the shocks serviceable after installation?

All shocks in the ICON Stage 3 Billet system are fully serviceable. Internal components can be rebuilt or replaced rather than requiring full shock replacement when the shocks eventually need service.
